How do I put a Userbox?

This is what you do.

You basically put Userbox -whatever the userbox is- and then you put

}}{{ These around it, but in opposite order. If you press edit you will see the code for the user box down below. Here

Kate Small.jpg This user's favorite KateModern character is Kate.

To find different userboxes you go to here

I hope that helped.--Houdini 23:11, 30 July 2007 (CDT)

Does anyone want to help me make a cool profile?

I'd say take a look around the LGPedia and see some other people user's profiles. That way, you can see what inspires you! Userboxes are always a nice decoration, as well as the Template:FanPerson. You may also want to put a list of stuff you may want with at the LGPedia. Its your choice -- Your page should feel comfortable to you since its about you, of course! Oh and welcome to the LGPedia! --Pheon 00:04, 31 July 2007 (CDT)
Dizzy (may I call you Dizzy?), I would also suggest that while working on any page, you'd take advantage of the "Preview" button. That way it doesn't clutter the "Recent Changes" page. --Pheon 00:11, 31 July 2007 (CDT)Sure!

Questions 2:Friends?

Copy and paste the wiki-code from Template:FanPerson into your UserProfile (it's toward the bottom of the page). Then just fill in the blanks. --Pheon 00:14, 31 July 2007 (CDT)

How do I fill in the blanks? And add anything?

what you do is make a space after the = sign, then fill it in, if you have question look at the edit source of something using it, it shows you front view--Houdini 00:21, 31 July 2007 (CDT)
Exactly as Houdini says, you simply plug in the correct information after the respective "=" sign. It'll say "name = ___". In that case you simply plug in your Username. Or of it says something like "first = __" You add where was your 'first appearance' (Most put in the town they were born). It's relatively user-friendly. --Pheon 00:23, 31 July 2007 (CDT)
Question 3 - I don't. What gave you that idea? Psmith 20:03, 5 August 2007 (CDT)
One word......vandalisim

Do you two wanna be my friends?

Ya sure. Were not picking on you at all, i'm pretty new too. We were just helping you at.--Houdini 00:29, 31 July 2007 (CDT)

How do I upload and put a picture?

Corner of the site is a little link that leads you to a page where you can upload a pic. But most people simply pick a picture of one of their favorite characters. In which case, they put the name of the pic after the little "Image =" slot. --Pheon 00:32, 31 July 2007 (CDT)

Creating Video Pages

Would you please not create empty or almost empty video pages? It's confusing, 'cause it looks like a page was created, while it really wasn't. If you do want to create a page for a video, please do it correctly, with template and everything (there's an empty framework on my userpage).
Thank you.

Hey Dizzy I saw in the comment page that you were looking for help on how to start the new video page on lgpedia. I suggest that you practice doing one in your sandbox User:DIZZYZAP478/Sandbox, so when you get a chance next you can figure it out. What i usually do (and you should defer to Renegade on formal procedures as compared to me) is go to the last video, then hit edit and copy the entire source text. then i start the new video page and paste in all the stuff from the last video and update it (i.e., the new title, the links, the characters, etc.). i find it a bit nerve wracking to do quickly myself, but once you've practiced it, its not really that hard. Starting new video pages properly (in my mind) is one of the more difficult tasks on the lgpedia for new folks. But its important -- I started the page for "school's in" and it probably had been out for 4-5 hours already. --Milowent 09:35, 1 November 2007 (CDT)
Hence why I linked to the framework on my userpage - it has the entire page pre-set up, templates, headers and everything. Just copy-paste that instead of the old vid, and you can save yourself the time needed to clear the old values.
Start with an older vid or the empty framework, and you can't do much wrong - just don't create empty pages or one-liners, as that disrupts the "creation cycle" or however you want to call it.
