Hmm... so I'm confused. How many different Franks are we working with Frankiswaking, Franklin, Frankiswaiting and yet another? (Jay's head starts spinning.) Was the Frank in CIW known as anything other than Frank? If so, it would be good to say so in the name of his article. So, for example, maybe Frank (schizophrenic) or Frank (CIW character) or something like that. Then, with this many Frank's, we should probably make the Frank page into a disambiguation.--JayHenry 10:01, 11 January 2007 (CST)

Yeah, in wikis a disambiguation page is exactly what you described, a short page that gives brief descriptions of the different Franks and links to the full article. I started one at Frank.--JayHenry 10:37, 11 January 2007 (CST)

Hehehe, Ms Kelly is probably scrambling to put together a video on safe sex practices! OwenIsCool 20:21, 15 January 2007 (CST)

I posted a reply to your Moonchild speculation query in the Talk:Aleister Crowley page. I hope that's useful, if not, just let me know! OwenIsCool 23:39, 15 January 2007 (CST)

Hi LG422,
I think it's great that your adding a lot of info to the wiki that other people haven't bothered to post, such as backgrounds of notable fans and interesting locations from LG15 and spinoffs. However, a while back we started trying to cut down on very short articles, mostly because it's easier for users not to have to click on a link just to read a sentence or two about a tangential subject. So going forward, before creating new pages, would you consider including their information wherever it is relevant? (i.e. include some background on the user if they are mentioned in CiW as having done something meaningful.) If there's more than a couple of sentences to say about a particular subject, then it should be included in a separate article.
OwenIsCool 23:37, 16 January 2007 (CST)
I was just bitching to a buddy of mine how little folks know or care about how we got where we are. I've started 3 zillion and 5 articles and I am bumping them up as they go along in other words..some are rather short right now..but TRUST me..I dont say hello in less than 500 words...I am just ADD as hell. . Actually most of these sleuths have done videos. Some fall into the category of just posting slueth info..others do some fan fiction. I am of the opinion..if they have a gets a page..unless its a straight response video. I can always combine later. I am trying to watch the pages I am starting and am mindful of bringing them back in down the road..right now..there is just SOOOOO MUCH to the story that is lacking. What we have to remember is that WE are the story in the forums..if we spent weeks chatting about something..thats something that should be chronicled. I am gonna start whoring into my old forum posts of various subjects if they still exist..they are fun..hah.As to the places..I don't see myself doing too many pages like the Azusa just hit me..thats a pretty damn important place and there have been a TON of people that filmed there. As is the playground. Usually you may see some new article from me with a few lines and a waste of space..but often I have a lot more in my gourd for that page. Also..I am LINK HAPPY as hell..but what I usually will do is link out to a regular wikipage. Just bear with me for a bit..I got a ton of stuff rattling around this damn noggin of mine and I am just organizing it as I remember...fillin in details later. Anyway...I talk too much..SEE! --LordGreystoke422 00:18, 17 January 2007 (CST)
I know you mean the best and I like that you bring a fresh perspective. Since a wiki is very different from a forum (well, you knew that, duh) I just wanted to help you make your contributions in an appropriate way. I'm glad you're aware that the pages are a bit lacking in content for now, and I understand they can take a while to develop. Keep at it and let me know if I can be of any assistance! OwenIsCool 11:39, 17 January 2007 (CST)

Hey LG422,
Thanks for your help reverting all the vandalism yesterday. I know you already have a lot on your plate with your videos, not to mention saving all those poorly written articles you've modified, so it was nice of you to still take the time to go through the Recent Changes and notice that other stuff. Just wanted to say it was appreciated. As always, let me know if I can be of any help with your articles.

101 Damnvandals

Thanks so much for your help with that! It seems like the moment I leave the wiki and go get other stuff done, this kinda crap has to happen. The fastest way you can revert is outlined here: LGPedia:Reverting vandalism. You're right though, sysops have a "rollback" feature that basically is like a one-click revert. After realizing everything that person did the same to every page, I checked their user contributions and clicked each one that was left. There was no "rollback" link next to the ones you fixed. What it's also really helpful for is knowing that we reverted everything they did. If I look at their contribs, I see no rollback links anymore. Victory! OwenIsCool 20:05, 29 January 2007 (CST)

About your comments on the LL page

LG422, let me be blunt with you for once. Maybe it's the only way you understand things. You (yes, you) said LG15 was supposed to be all about fanfiction and you wanted to see more support, and how these series were each a chance to support fanfiction, not brush it aside. I cannot believe how unsupportive you have been of the LL series, regardless of how self-promoting you think the article is. Never even mind the fact that you've been working on your series' article to your heart's content--nominate it for an FA if you feel like it. Maybe a free publicity won't sound so bad if it's for you. No one will be as "blunt" (HA, try crude, or maybe deprecating) as you have been to these people. I cannot believe how you will flip out over a YourMomIsSmarmy page not getting enough so-called support, and then waltz over there and bash those people and the series that they like. Did it ever even occur to you that you could provide some kind of useful bluntness that would have actually made the article acceptable to you and more feature-worthy? Or heck, say you prefer GC and get on with it--without giving them all that other crap.
You're a good editor: you know a lot about the series, you're committed, and you actually care enough to take the time to revert vandalism. However, your people skills are wayyyy lacking over here. I know it's hard with the whole "people are planning my death" scenario, but you sound more like a middle-school kid who still thinks it takes mad skillz to be rude.

Nice vid!

Hi LordGreystoke422,
I thought your recruitment video was very good! You make a strong point that we need more people to help us against the Operators who are suppressing information. I think many will heed your call... Also thanks for taking the time to reply to my message earlier. Like I had said, you're a good editor, and things like this recruitment video show you have a lot of initiative (well, you have like 50 others so I'm just restating the obvious). I was just worried that some users could feel a little bullied around if you were kinda rough with them and they didn't really know you. After all, you're trying to recruit people, not scare them off... but oh wait, I see what you're doing! You only want the strongest on our side in our fight against the Operators...  ;)
Take care,
OwenIsCool 20:24, 30 January 2007 (CST)

Well, articles can really only be deleted by admins (the three of us) or the main Admin account (the Creators)... I think we'd realize if articles we're mysteriously disappearing without any of us deleting them... or would we? So... could this possibly be some cross-over you are talking about? Is this person you spoke to someone from your story arc? (to be out of character for a second). Send me an email thru the wiki if you like... sometimes I get confused in the blur between reality and fiction. If you do email, let me know on my Talk page, I don't check that Inbox very often.
OwenIsCool 21:36, 30 January 2007 (CST)
Yo, LG, I posted my first fan video in response to Looking For Daniel, but really, in many ways, it's for you. --Brucker 15:41, 2 February 2007 (CST)

Policy Patrol

I wanted to know if you would like to be part of it because you helped with LGpedia so much :) Policy Patrol link Add your name to Current membership if you would like to do it,Thanks :)--Iris2009 20:30, 30 January 2007 (CST)

Hey. LGS!! read through your paragraph there. LOL your missing some words hun!--Killthesmiley 16:54, 31 January 2007 (CST)

On your user page. Not your main fan page, your user page is missing words like "If some ties shoe" lol...ok you're literally becoming tarzan! hahahaha!!! --Killthesmiley 17:12, 31 January 2007 (CST)

WRONG BEYATCH! Tarzan actually could write perfectly. He taught himself from children's books. He just couldn't speak english. SO bite me...mine is user cant talk page. --LordGreystoke422 17:29, 31 January 2007 (CST)

I see the time-outs greatly annoy you, so I thought I'd mention this. If you're editing a post for a long time, you can keep hitting the Preview button every couple of minutes or so and that prevents you from timing out. Just thought that might help save you from a premature heart attack, hehe. OwenIsCool 11:49, 3 February 2007 (CST)

VideoWhore422? (userboxes)

I thought that since you're willing to call yourself a "Video Whore", that you wouldn't mind having your picture on the Video Whore user box, but I thought it would be nice to ask.

I'm thinking I'm going to make four userboxes, one for users that have made a single video, one for users who have made "a few fan videos", one for users with "a lot of fan videos", and one for those who will call themselves a "Video Whore". I'd love to hear suggestions for whose pictures to put in the other userboxes. I'm planning on using myself for the second one, and itscassie for the third, but I don't know who to use for the single; I'll have to do some research... (Hmm, how about Deemontreal?) --Brucker 16:59, 7 February 2007 (CST)

Obviousleley I am one of the less-equal contributors on here, but I think that as LG15 is viewed by people under 18 the word 'whore' shouldn't be used. If removing such words is vandalism, then so be it.....# are less equal. I can't speak for the three Adminiteers but.. I know I give more weight to something done or posted by someone that takes the time to register for the site. Additionally when that person has been banned once already..permanently on another IP and then comes back with a new IP and engages in the same behavior against the same person it kind of puts ya down a few rungs.but maybe that's just me. I TOLD YOU..if you wanna give me crap.. MAKE VIDEOS. You are upset you can't do it on YouTube anymore since I blocked you. I am giving you your method. Otherwise..STOP wasting everyone's time. --LordGreystoke422 18:49, 7 February 2007 (CST)

I just heard a bit about the "controversy" and read your user page. I am going to go out on an 80 ft limb here: I am in favor of personal userbox free speech. GASP! What harm is done to anyone? What the hell is wrong with people? I think it would be a shame for you to take down your videos, its a part of the greater lg15 history. You put yourself out there, which takes guts. And what is up with that dehteraew guy lifting audio from your video? That guy intrigues me.--Milowent 11:23, 16 February 2007 (CST)

I understand your frustration, but please don't remove your videos. I still haven't had the chance to watch them all! ~CNG

Guys, Greystoke was not reprimanded for the content of his userpage. He was reprimanded for constantly attacking other users of the wiki. It's not acceptable for anyone to go around calling people Nazis, idiots, trolls, constitution haters, etc. It's not "an attack" when people disagree with you -- and the appropriate response is not "to strike back." Every user who behaves the way Greystoke behaves has been warned. He has not been singled out for persecution as he believes. If it is impossible for him to "have fun" at without savage tirades against other users of the LGPedia, I don't know what to say.--JayHenry 12:46, 16 February 2007 (CST)
Your lack of consistency is APPALLING. Your grasp of the facts or lack thereof is SHAMEFUL.

OH MY..I used caps..I am such a bully. The fact that YOU reverted a userbox that refers to me as a KNOB of cheese back into existence..which is a reference by that user to activity that caused them to be banned under another IP..shows a lack of understanding on your part of how to administrate properly. --LordGreystoke422 13:32, 16 February 2007 (CST)

Knobs of cheese? I am nothing if not underinformed and probably shouldn't have added my 2 cents. I do hate the constitution myself.--Milowent 13:57, 16 February 2007 (CST)
Nice try, but not true. I never reverted any userboxes calling you a knob of cheese. Greystoke, please, this is a wiki -- anyone can check the edit histories and see that you're lying.--User:JayHenry 14:07, 16 February 2007 (CST)

How very professional of you to use the term lying Jay...when anyone can check the histories and see that I was more likely mistaken in that another admin had indeed reverted the removal of the Knob of cheese userbox. It can also be noted that the Knob of Cheese userbox which clearly goes against the universal standards for wiki userboxes was left in place by other Admin along with the other boxes intended to harass me. Additionally, Jay..maybe you should take your own advice and not strike back. If you want a high standard then maybe the admin should set the example. You just pretty basically called me a liar. How is this any different from what you claim I have done? There is the fact that you are an administrator here..but in my opinion that puts you on a higher standard than the regular members at the very least. The fact that you came and made comments on my user talk page in response to other members comments also shows a need on your part to strike back. Honestly, hold yourself to your own standards. This was the sort of thing I was referring to with the NEEDLESS(whoops..there goes that aggressive cap thing.) complaining about silly harmless personal userpage stuff. It wasn't a different opinion, it was needless bickering which I illustrated briefly with excerpts from the wiki userbox guidelines that are linked to from here. I could see that this was starting to become a bit of a problem and was trying to address it directly. Instead of squashing any further controversy, the admin fanned the fire. Also ,it is interesting in that you mention that I was reprimanded when Milo made no mention of any admin actions towards me. He simply spoke out in favor of userbox free speech. You yourself basically threw a bit of a savage tirade my way over defending myself back on the HSAOKeynote speaker talk. Honestly, most of what you accuse me of.. you do yourself. Maybe you need to take a step back sometimes before you post on talk pages like you suggest I do. --LordGreystoke422 19:19, 16 February 2007 (CST)
Et tu, LordGreystoke422? If you hadn't come back to continue spreading misinformation, I would have let it go, but since you're back to keep blaming others for your inability to play nice with the other children, I'm afraid I'll have to clear some things up.
  1. On consistency and knobs of cheese. There is no knob of cheese userbox; they are all listed at Userbox. To find this elusive userbox, you'll have to go to User:SheriffOfNottingham where this user has chosen to put userbox code on his page to say that he has been rumoured to have called LG422 a knob of cheese. When an anonymous IP blanked this user's page, an admin restored it. How were we to know that this was LG422's way of expressing his disapproval? Should have brought it up on the guys talk page if he wanted to sort things out. That code is not a real userbox and we have not encouraged other people to ridicule LG422. In fact, if you go to User talk:SheriffOfNottingham you'll see it was none other than JayHenry who stood up for LG422 and pointed out to this user that his userboxes were inappropriate. The only lack of consistency here, is in LG422's very selective memory. See the history of Sherriff's page if you want to see the blanking done by the IP I mentioned.
  2. On Nazis, trolls and bullies. LG422 seems to have thought it'd be appropriate to call the admins "Nazis" on this forum thread. He was very concerned that we would delete the Moonchild article if he didn't work on it, and quick! Nevermind that as per our deletion policy, we never outright delete articles. In fact, OwenIsCool (me! a so-called Nazi!) was who encouraged LG422 to rewrite this article. Please see for yourself at Talk:Aleister Crowley. Please also look at LG422's contributions, the edits to Talk pages specifically, to get an idea of his aggressive behavior towards other users. And I don't just mean using all caps. Shooting down other fanfic, accusing any random IP that crosses his path of being a stalker, I don't know how he can call others "unprofessional" with a straight face. Actually, don't bother going to his contributions. His above reply to JayHenry was pretty representative (albeit on the mild side) of the rambling accusations that characterize his interactions with other users.
  3. On fanning the flame. LG422, the more you talk the more obvious it becomes that your claims don't hold any water. For your own credibility's sake, you should stop accusing people of being against you, and you should take a deep breath and realize that no one is after you (except in your series, of course). Speaking of videos, I see no reason to take them down. You don't have a grudge with your fans, and they're the only ones who will be hurt (for lack of a better word) by your removing your series. Furthermore, like I've said before on your Talk page you're a good editor aside from the outbursts you tend to have against other users (and against admins when your're at the forum). I try not to take it personally, but honestly I did stand up for you more than once (see my talk for an example of your thanking me for it), and the other admins have all been helpful to you in many ways--it's quite disappointing how quickly you forget these things.
OwenIsCool 15:14, 17 February 2007 (CST)
OK, i went through all the links and areas people mentioned and noticed the whole story.

I Think that LG422 was being attacked by a Certain IP, which made him attack back. i have seen these IP user attacks back and forth with him, and honestly if i got that i would be ticked off as well. Even though i Hardly get along with LG422 i think his videos are great and i like how he has helped with LGpedia, Thats why i asked him to pm me in the forum, but a mod deleted it (you should know) i think that everone is right on some parts or another and yes, i have been wrong in the past and done wrong, but i was forgiven. LG422 just go back to do what you already have been doing and try not to start anymore fights, Same with the certain IP user. I think everyone is Family and is welcomed to say what they please inless carryed away, And if Name calling keeps going i think a bann would be under way. along with the ip attacks. Im sorry to suggest this but it would give time for a kool off.because the way i see it LGPedia:No Personal Attacks :( --TJ Marsh 15:55, 17 February 2007 (CST)

boo for quiters

who's giving you crap, grey? you should give me their home adress and i'll mail them a ton of bricks to shove up their rear ends! your videos were the best and i've been bumming out (no pun intended) ever since you quit. - platypus april 23 2007
