Description I gave Jonas the DVD of Michelle Clore talking in some other language that Charlie had and now we're more spooked than ever. Do you have any idea what she is saying?

Transcript

(Jonas pans the camera to himself. Lauren and Steve are watching the laptop in the background as Michelle Clore's voice can be heard.)

Jonas: Okay, here goes. Lauren invited us over today to watch this DVD that Charlie stole from some army base somewhere.

Lauren: It was a nuclear bunker.

Jonas: Oh. Uh, right; sorry. So anyway this bunker was used by the Order for experiments, and, when she was there, Charlie found this DVD with an Elder on it. Michelle Clore. You might remember her; she's that artist that does the, uh, the circle pictures? Anyway... (Sighs.) On this DVD, Michelle Clore's talking in this strange language. And she definitely mentions me and my friends... and its creeping me out. What do you guys think?

(Cut to the video of Michelle Clore speaking to the camera in an unknown language. The video has visible splices in it.)

Michelle Clore: ...amerikanen...Bree Avery...Jonas, Daniel, Sarah, Gina, ve Jennie...Kaliforniya...internette...videolarda...

(Michelle bows to the camera. Cut to the video playing on the laptop, with all three watching intently.)

Jonas: She Definitely mentioned us. (Steve nods.) That's for sure. But what language is she speaking? Man, wh-what is she saying?

Steve: Is it Farsi?

Lauren: I doubt it. I reckon its a secret language they made up to speak to each other so we can't understand.

Steve: Wait... Is she speaking backwards?

(Jonas turns the camera on himself.)

Jonas: Can you guys help us figure out what she's saying? I don't think that that's a made up language; I... I need to figure out what they're saying, and urgently, because it's freaking me out and I need to understand why. Oh! Oh, one more thing: Charlie, or anyone else out there, for that matter, the next time you find a DVD in some Order base and it's got my name on it and my friends' names on it, don't hide it under your bed. Let us know.

Notes

  • The language has been discovered to be Turkish. (Forum link) This was later confirmed by Sophie in a blog post:

Hey guys, Sophie here. Thought I'd summarise what we've got so far with the Michelle Clore message to see if we can get it cracked.

A lot of you seem to think she's speaking Turkish and I think you might be right! Can anyone here translate it for us and write it out in English? If you have Turkish friends or relatives, call them up and ask for their help! We need to know what she's saying as soon as possible - the lives of our friends could be in danger!

Get cracking!

Love Soph
