I'm just sad that Owen is depressed. Sounds like he has seasonal affective disorder... I can relate to that... poor turtle...

I thought this new video was kind of lame actually Confused

. I felt that Bree just kind of tossed Cassie's name in there for the fans, and it rang false that she was friends with Cassie (but maybe not, since I haven't seen any of the Cassie vids). Plus, she didn't really get anywhere with the phone calls. As she says at the end, it's "back to square one". And she's still close friends with P. Monkey and Owen. But I'm glad she doesn't trust Gemma, and that she's still trying to get back in touch with Daniel. Yeah, and thanks to whoever first found out the solution the laundromat phone number puzzle. It went right over my head Embarassed

. Nice to know that Bree's father is trying to get in touch with her, but it would have been nicer if that message was a bit more obvious. Oh well, they can't all be easy.

You know, even if that mention of Cassie and Frank amounts to nothing more than a reference/homage, it is now one of the highlights of the series. A Kodak moment. That was great.

Anyway, as for the rest of the video, it's great to see Bree actually acting mature even while she retains her original personality. She can still mention the stuffed animals but remain sober and quickly say "On a more serious note...". And, hey, she acknowledged that P. Monkey's actually a puppet. This is definitely an improvement. Bree is cool again. Holy shit.

That was a good video. I'm happy with it. I hope Daniel gets back with us all soon, and I kind of feel like it's been too long since we heard anything from him, but this video all around was well done.

By the way, was there an inconsistency with Cassie? Previously Bree said that Cassie was freaked out by the religion and stopped calling. Here Bree said she stopped talking to Cassie after the caller ID incident. Is this a contradiction or does Bree just mean that after the caller ID incident Cassie was too freaked out by the religion to keep talking to her? Maybe a slip up by Jessica Rose ad libbing the scene? Or a sign of a lie?
