I think he was just playing around. He said he's totally going to win, and he shows his 74 offsuit, which is one of the worst starting hands in Texas Hold'em.
I think Jonas was just playing up for the pretty ladies in this one. Can't blame him.

Interesting the cards and the bowling alley...when you think of Tachyon...but I think this vid was just supposed to show them actually having fun for once, get some publicity, and make Bree jealous.

Then I was pretty bored. Good vid though! Bree and Katharine look like sisters  .

So I've watched it a few times, and the only real significance I feel existed is that Daniel was spouting off about the Order to some random person in a bowling alley. While I don't think that Ms. McPhee herself is a Watcher, what about there still being a Watcher present, without either one knowing? Daniel would be too drunk to notice, and Katherine (or "Randomgirl" ) think he's making it all up anyway. And since Watchers have followed Bree and Daniel in the past, what's not to say that there could have possibly been a Watcher planted there, knowing that Daniel would show up? Could be important...
Maybe it's a stretch, but that's just my 0.02.

I'm thinking a guy in a black suit would probably stand out in a bowling alley. I think they're safe.
As KM was supposedly just on for one episode, I'm assuming that she probably won't play a plant or anything but Randomgirl.
If anything this will probably just give Bree more ammo to whine to us about Daniel.

Isn't this supposed to be a one episode gig for KM? If so, it would be kinda hard to do any character development toward her being a plant. Plus, how would they know Daniel would be at that particular bowling alley at that particular time?
I'm assuming that he didn't talk about it in the house, because Jonas didn't know where he was until Randomgirl called him. |

OK, I AM GOING TO STEP OUT ON A LIMB HERE.
The McPhee character ROCKED. She represents the LG15 audience. She pointed out a lot of ridiculous things about the show.
"Do you guys film everything?"
"Hey, where are your parents?"
"He had quite the imagination"
At 3:58 this may be the 2nd longest episode ever (after On the Run). it didn't feel too long though. the music was no worse than other selections, its inoffensive pop, nothing edgy about it though. It's no Since U Been Gone by Kelly or She Bangs by the Hungster!
Mcphee got a lot of camera time -- but drunkenness of a friend or friends (even underage ones like the Beast) is often an excuse to make new friends. in some ways this episode was the most real teen like episode of lg15 i've seen. bree came off as a bit shy and immature as per her character in comparison to mcphee.
Oh, and i'm fairly sure that what jonas was going to do to daniel was put his hand in a nice pot of warm water.

true. the true vlog videos are the "authentic" ones, but the action videos like this (and the unthinkable happened) only hold up the weakest pretense of being a vlog. perhaps it would be better if they drop that pretense altogether for the action videos -- that might seem radical, but if the construct of the show was changed so that some of the vids are in-character vlogs, and others are more traditional tv drama style to stitch together the vlogs, it might be a better way to tell the story. |

Loved the vid, a few things jumped out at me:
1. It struck me as odd that KM just... went home with them. Who does that? If I had to help a drunk out to their friend in the parking lot, I'd drop them off and say "see ya!". Unless her character is a little floosy.
2. Did I sense a little bit of jealousy from Bree when she noticed the other girl? I think so!
3. Daniel, great acting. I effing love funny drunk people. |

does no one else think randomgirl is hinting that she wouldn't mind living there too?
i don't think she was all that cute, but i thought her acting was ok.
i would like to think bree would not allow daniel to be humiliated further than she already did recently.
randomgirl would be a great addition as she does seem to think more like us than does bree, daniel or jonas. (i know i'm generalizing)
anyway, as has been said, i am not thrilled with celebrity cameos in principle, but i understand the need for funding to do whatever they would like. if that does it, i'm for it.

Good point on #1. Why on earth would she get into a car and go home with 2 random boys, one of whom was drunk? Didn't her mother ever tell her about date rape and serial killers? Very dumb on her part.
Would have been a tad more believeable if Bree had been in the car, a girl bonding sort of thing. But then we wouldn't have gotten the jealous Bree reaction to much prettier Random Girl being with Bree's men.
Maybe this will make Bree realize that she is not the center of the universe, and that if she doesn't start treating Daniel better, she could loose him to some other Randomgirl. |

How did her character get home?
And yes to whomever said it, this is just her one and only appearance...so I also doubt her character held any significance other than making bree jealous.
