This whole "bree is cassie" thing is very interesting. I am trying to grab it all in. The first post on this subject gave me a lot to think about. I think I am going to think a while and get back to you lol meanwhile, the daniel saying that he remembers Cassie really bothers me for some reason ......

i like this theory- and i think the order actually LIKES that bree has split personalities- that if one side doesn't want to do what the order wants, just summon cassie to take over.
so daniel didn't actually remember cassie (she didn't come out that often at school, when bree got real friends *daniel*, she stopped coming out at all), but the order TOLD him to say that

A lot of times when there is ritualistic cults involved, they do program people to dissociate---its one of the qualities they test for at a young age. Those who are not able to dissociate are usually killed or taken care of in some fashion. Dissociation is a cause for Multiple Personality Disorder. Its possible that Bree was taught to Dissociate, which split her mind into seperate egos. One side of her dealt with these issues or was used as a vent for her pain and trauma (cassie) and the other side was completely emotionless to it (bree).
