| I don't think "babysitters" applies to adoptive parents. Tachyon makes reference to doing something "messy" to escape a "babysitter" who was tailing her, and OpAphid said she was going to have to send another one. Tachyon also suggested that one was watching Brother. These guys are either Watchers or people who do something very similar. |

I feel like they seem like a more neutral order than anything, but I think for the purpose of the storyline that you are right, and they are evil. Just because they don't physically try to hurt BDorJ doesn't mean they are 'good'.

My feeling about the watchers are that they ar more so drones. They do what they are told and thats that.
Its interesting I've read through the thread a bit and noticed one of the biggest arguments about the watchers being "good" is the fact that they do not hurt or snatch bree. Yet we already know that they can not hurt bree and she must choose to go with them to do the ceremony.
*shakes head*
the facts are this:
1) They took the children from the families. We know that.
2) They ordered Gemma to kill Brother. We know that
3) They killed Bree's dad in front of Bree. We know that
4) They are posing a threatening aura over Bree. We Know that
5) The kidnapped and drugged Daniel. We know that
6) Tachyon's real family is missing due a situation over her sisters ceremony. We know that
7) The watchers are posing a threatening aura over tachyon and brother. We know that.
 The planted spy camera in a home that they legally have no access to (Daniel's home). We know that
9) The set up Gemma so brother would kill her. We know that
10) They are stalking/chasing Bree and Co. around the state in attempt to force her to choose to do the ceremony, because we all know that she must do so with her own free will. Yet is it really free will when she feels like her life is in danger?
Tachyon on the other hand has killed one watcher...we potentially have at least four people dead (Bree's Father, and the family members of the missing family) with the order, if not more. We know that the order is no nessesarly evil, but they are definately not favorable in this situation.

Rebuttal time *sings*
1.) We don't know if the children were taken or willingly given up by the parents. It could be quite the honor in this religion.
2.) Gemma was never ordered to kill Brother. Warpylol was the one who may have acted as a rogue agent. Gemma's purpose was to get close to him.
3.) There is no proof that Bree's father is, in fact dead.
4.) You feel they are posing a threatening aura because you feel that they are evil. I feel that they are simply watching her to keep her safe. Its a matter of perspective.
5.) Daniel left with a Cowboy from the bar. For all we know, the Order removed him from that man because he was a sexual deviant who may have taken advantage of a drunk Daniel. They may have kept him in a loopy state so that he wouldn't know where the headquarters is and therefore be in more danger from Tachyon and her mission to destroy the Order, no matter the cost.
6.) Tachyon's family is not missing. They disappeared from the community they lived in, but she obviously went with them. She knows where they are, but doesn't talk to them due to some jealousy issues she has yet to work out.
7.) If a crazy lady hell bent on a personal vendetta was trying to kill as many of your friends as possible in her mission of revenge, wouldn't you want to know where she was at all times?
8.) We do not know whether or not Daniel's parents gave permission for the camera to be placed.
9.) Tachyon set up Gemma so Brother would kill her. Why would the Order want to have one of their own murdered?
10.) They are watching Bree to make sure that she is safe and that she doesn't become more of a pawn in Tachyon's sick game of revenge.
Tachyon has killed a watcher, procured a body from somewhere to plant in Brothers house in england so the Order would think he was dead. She also ordered and set up the situation so that Brother could kill Gemma.
Please make sure you have your facts straight before you post. You seem to be getting things confused between the Order and Tachyon/Brother. |
