Not just Tolkien, but Shakespeare, arguably the best playwrite in history. Many, if not most of his plays are merely copying themes from famous Greek myths, and The Lion King vaguely resembles his Hamlet. Everyone does it, it's just a theme that interests one after all.
As for the picture, I love that. Alice Liddell, that's wild. Did you post that because you know I love the Alice adventures? Cough my avatar- cough cough. _________________ Kimmi-Chan loves you!!! |

Joygasm,
I was reading your post all confused because you said 'he'. I was thinking 'he who? Jonas?" I'm female actually, forty year old married mom of one from New Jersey (pleased to meet you BTW). | I'm sorry about that. I have been making those mistakes a lot. But I am learning!!
. |
It's my fault. My screen name is cryptic and anonymous (not intentionally, it's actually just the initials from my screen name from a different bulletin board) and I've made no indication of my gender up to this point. I just didn't realize this until just now Hi, I'm Rachel, pleased to meet you . |
I am Joy!! I am sure that is a hard one to guess. My screenname is one I have used for 10 years now. I have had a few others, but I always go back to this one. It seems to fit
It's very nice to meet you Rachel! _________________ I Lurker!! He is my King. I bow to no other.
You other girls better back it up! He is mine! Just ask him!! |

Here here, me too, double yah.
I'm 29 now, and for all I've packed in to this short life so far, I still don't feel like I even found my feet properly until I was about 24-25....
But then, everyone finds their feet at different ages I guess...
(Sorry to go OT mods, but hey, I get the feeling we're nearing the end of this thread anyways ) |
In reality, AM is in the minority. Most people do not have their feet flat on the ground at 23... and just because he made the right decision does not mean that they were not youthful decisions. In my opinion, most of the decisions we make between 18-25 are youthful due to the fact that we do not have the experiences to predict the outcome of those decisions. We may have people around us guiding us to make the right decision, but we have not had the experiences ourself.
Even at 24, I find myself giving my neighbor advice on things I have faced not too long ago. I know what advice to give her because I have been in similiar situations and either made the right decision or I screwed up pretty bad when I was faced with a similar situation. Does all this make sense or is it just crazy rambling? |
Total sense I every year I find this is more and more true _________________ Jonas: I don't care, I don't care! Idon'tcareIdon'tcareIdon'tcare... I don't care. You can't come and I don't care.

Because in the website announcements under the Producet Placement thread, it is mentioned that the product will be in today's video. Its gum, by the way.
