Just some questions that have been running around in my head...
Haven't they all been sharing hotel rooms for a while now? Do think that Jonas just started talking in his sleep (due to torture)? Would Bree and/or Jonas have complained about Jonas talking in his sleep before? |

ionno what scientific evidence you're talkin about, but i got my brother to tell me where his halloween candy stash was cause he was sleeptalking |
Yeah, my ex used to talk in his sleep. Alot of it was BS, but he would talk about stuff that'd happened to him that day. I could carry on conversations with him and find out almost anything I wanted to . _________________ Daniel gets stage fright

However, I don't understand why Daniel wouldn't comment that this was out-of-ordinary, and realize something was wrong. _________________ You can call me Juli or LLP, whichever suits your fancy.

I mean that they aren't currently thinking what they are saying. Kind of like when you are talking to someone about something boring and mindless but your mind is elsewhere. For instance, your brother wasn't dreaming about his halloween candy as he told you where it was. My boyfriend also chatters in his sleep and can carry on conversations (though they sound kind of like a drugged mental patient). Scientific evidence proves that dreams do not pertain directly to sleep-talk. _________________ "Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Spoilsport! LOL
So maybe we should tell Daniel to ask some questions of Jonas while he's sleeping... see if he can cross over that mental barrier that keeps them from remembering. _________________ quick! someone get the ajax and steel wool; I have mental images to scrub out!! |

I know, one can have a conversation with someone who is sleeptalking. My brother talks in his sleep and if I ask him "what are you talking about" he answer stuff like "what do you mean, you know what I'm talking about".
When he wakes up, he doesn't remember a thing.
Guess is pretty common then. _________________ "Have you uff da'd today?" - Broken Kid |

I talk in my sleep, so my wife says. She says I take random words and put them into sentences. Frog peanut hair bows sixth. She will then ask me what I said and I will repeat the same nonsense sentence. She tells me about it once in a while, I think the reason she is so interested is one day I might blurt out some lottery numbers.
I had a friend in scouts who would actually sleepwalk and talk. It was very creepy. One night, camping, he climbed out of his tent climbed onto the picnic table and shouted at the top of his lungs.
"Woooooo Hoooooo Let's Party" and began to dance on the table.
Totally out of character and completely hilarious he didn't remember a thing. _________________ "But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.

It's not always the case that sleep talking and dreams don't connect.
Dreams related to traumatic situations, especially if the dreams come in the form of nightmares, often are accompanied by vocalization...vocalizations that can make very good sense. I can tell you this from experience.
Soooo... It wouldn't be a bad idea for Bree and Daniel to listen in on Jonas while he's sleeping... _________________ Diane, or cher, or even chershaytoute, but "Hey, you!" works, too...

Eeeehhhh.. no offense, but I'm an adamant believer in science over reports made by others.
Still, I do understand that people can talk sensibly in their sleep. I've had conversations with my boyfriend while he was sleeping (and passed out drunk..). lol _________________ "Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Loretta, look at some books about trauma and PTSD then. It should give you some idea what I'm talking about/dealing with. _________________ Diane, or cher, or even chershaytoute, but "Hey, you!" works, too...

My husband talks in his sleep. It's fun to ask him questions, but he always gets defensive like someone else said, he says things like "you know whats' going on, stop playing stupid". His 'conversations' with me always involve him trying to do something difficult (although, it's been 10 years, and I still have not been able to ever get him to tell me what it is he is trying to do). He never believed me about the sleep talking/conversations until I showed him a video tape of him doing it. He thought it was really strange because he said he did not dream anything like that when he was sleeping. In fact, his dream involved playing with the boys at the park. |

I'm not saying you are lying. I'm saying that people don't verbalize their dreams as they occur. I take psych classes; I've read plenty of books. I'm sorry you have to deal with those things. I've had family members in traumatic situations too. I hope things begin to get better soon. _________________ "Beneath this mask there is more than flesh.
