I think you are exactly right... That makes a lot more sense. That would make the guy "cannon" in Sarah's own character thing... but would have no real connections to Maddy, Adam, or Whiskey (we can't forget Whiskey...)

It sounded like there was some high speed morse code going on in the video. Maybe it translates to something useful?

I cant be sure, but the sound that was being made did not sound like backround music. It sounded delibrate. Its just a guess....
