isn't Jules a lot younger than Bree??
so isn't the ceremony done at a certain age???
because most religious ceremonies or rituals are done at a specific age not at a moment of maturity
so my guess is the new girl has to be older
(but slightly younger than Bree since she is too old now) |

although she acts younger, i don't think jules is THAT much younger than bree. and the order had planned to make bree do the ceremony, but now she isn't. so they're in a pickle to find a new girl. so i bet they would settle for a little younger.
but i think the ceremony HAS to be done every few years for the sake of the order... _________________ currently chewing ice breakers sours gum

But the ceremony is supposed to be performed at even an older age than Bree is. They made an exception for Bree. So the fact that Julia's even a couple years younger is strange. |

Where'd you get that impression? The only thing I can remember that we ever heard before was that a girl about Bree's age had been used in a previous ceremony. |

i kind of think it's like that book the giver which i was OBSESSED with when i was a little kid. that kid was the chosen one to receive all the memories of mankind basically, and when he decided to leave town, thus releasing all the memories, there was no one else suited to take the job except for someone much younger than him, because children with the right characteristics only came along every several years ... and not just anybody could have the job.
sooo that's my thoughts on this as well. bree decided not to do the ceremony and they couldn't find just anyone to do the job, they probably had to search a long time to find someone all the way in texas with an age even close to correct.
did i just make any sense? the words i want aren't coming to me. |

I thought that jules looked like 11 or 12 at first, I'm not sure how old she is suppost to be but i think bree said 15... _________________ RoseCrowley:I wish my tooth would fall out so i could trade it with the tooth fairy!
