Besides water, what are the elements the human body is made of?

How can something that burns with contact to air and reacts to non-metals be found in the blood? Isn't that mostly what blood is?

Hey, check it out for yourself. I don't make statements about scientific facts that can't be backed up by real data.

Water is not an element. It is a molecule of hydrogen and oxygen.

There are a couple of rare earth elements that also exist in molecular form in blood. Don't take my word for it. Check the available data for yourself.

completely unrelated to the decoding/periodic table thing (though I do like that idea), quantum electrodynamics is the movement of individual electrons, superconductivity is the lack of resistance to said movement. These guys call themselves the resistance, don't they? Coincidence?
....yeah...

On the Periodic Table thing, I decided to count the number of letter in each of the "wierd" words, quantum, electrodynamics, superconductivity, and supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, and see what elements those came out to. I got 6-Nitrogen, 15-Phosphorus, 17-Chlorine, and 34-Selenium. All of these are necessary in some concentration for human life, and seem like they could be the makings of some kind of drug...

Oh, and the major elements in the human body are Carbon, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Hydrogen, then you get down to a lot of things there's a lot less of.

Okay, I looked up those four elements and their association with blood/Epogen. For some background information/recap Epogen is used to treat anemia - a lack of blood cells. It's made from blood plasma, which has a lower oxygen carrying capacity and lower oxygen content than hemoglobin. It works by causing the bone marrow to make more blood cells. Nitrogen... well... Nitrites can cause the oxygen carrying capacity of the blood to decrease, and nitrates can cause Vitamin A shortages. Phosphorus binds to hemoglobin, and affects oxygen deliver to tissues - I believe it increases oxygen capacity. Chlorine doesn't seem to be related to blood, except that chlorine poisoning can cause a severe change in acid levels in the blood, causing damage to organs. And, finally, Selenium strengthens the immune system, and seems to be related to blood pressure.

I don't know if that mass of information made sense, or was helpful, but it gave me something to do while I couldn't sleep. Now, I'm going to attempt to go to sleep. I'll work more in the morning. Night!

7-Nitrogen
15-Phosphorus
17-Chlorine
34-Selenium

If this leading to some medication or blood "trait", why would bree's dad need to point this out to bee? Wouldn't she already know?

He said "Don't forget your QE (7, 15) and Superconductivity(17). Maybe reminding her to take medication or something? I feel like I'm grasping at straws.

If this is a code it needs to be telling Bree something she doesn't already know, thats what's tripping me up about this.

Does any of this mean anything to you Beast? Has Bree mentioned any chemicals or medications shes been using since you guys were on the road?

Did anyone catch this set of lyrics from mary poppins that was posted before regarding Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious?

Mary Poppins:
So when the cat has got your tongue
There's no need for dismay
Just summon up this word
And then you've got a lot to say
But better use it carefully
Or it could change your life

Maybe this all means Bree is supposed to get in touch with her real mother, Selenium Dion!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcBRyrzXkK4

This might explain why Bree (Brie) is named after french cheese.

The first thing that struck me was the inconsistant line lengths. There is probably a reason for that...

BREE, HOPE YOU FIND THIS NOTE
I'M SO SORRY FOR THE WAY EVERYTHING HAS TURNED OUT.
I GENUINELY THOUGHT OUR CONVERSATION WITH THE DEACONS WOULD GO WELL.  I JUST WANT THE BEST FOR YOU.
YOU CAN TRUST DANIEL.  STAY AWAY FROM THE HOUSE FOR A FEW MONTHS.

FOR NOW, CONTACT WILL BE PERIOTIC.  I LEFT MONEY ON
THE TABLE.

BE STRONG, BREE.  I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH.  MORE THAN YOU KNOW.
DON'T FORGET YOUR QUANTUM ELECTRODYNAMICS OR SUPERCONDUCTIVITY.  QUOTING MS. POPPINS: SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS.
             LOVE,
                DAD

If you count the words on each line you get:
6
11
18
13
10
2
12
11
1
1

The second line has 10 words if you count "I'm" as 1 word.

This seems consistent with the way you counted "Don't" as 1 word.

Daniel,

I know you said to PM you if we figured anything out. I really haven't, but I did want to share an hypothesis.

I think Bree's dad was pointing out the substance in her blood that makes her desired by The Order.

He said that contact would be "periodic," and then said that he left money on the "table."

Both statements aren't true, from what I remember. I remember that the money was found in P. Monkey, and that contact didn't occur regularly.

I think he was saying "Periodic Table," as in Periodic Table of the Elements. I think he might have been tipping us off as to what substance The Order is looking for in Bree's blood that makes her desirable for The Ceremony.

I am checking the Table for uncommon elements found in human blood. The most promising so far are Lanthanides, which are also called "rare earth elements." A couple of these are found in blood at the pg/mL amounts.
OMG!!! maybe that was what was in the Injection that she had to have!
