I think that she's trying to hard (Sarah). She obviously likes Daniel but feels a need to do that whole "I-don't-care" thing as self-defense. The boots were a stupid choice of clothing, but she's obviously trying to be cute for Daniel. Someone should whup her into shape. Maybe Daniel could yell at her.

Speaking of which, you guys have some seriously good stuff. And I'll agree - getting to see CAMP PLAY again finally, in this new context, is extremely satisfying. Brownie points for the Creators. (Why do I sound like C3PO ever time I say "Creators" with a capital C? I'll start running around the forum saying "Oh! Thank the Maker" from now on.)

I'll agree with the statements that those devoted to the HoO may not necessarily know and understand the higher workings of the Order - and may be kept in the dark so that they serve as sort of happy and ignorant nannies and caretakers of the children recruited. That would make sense, and it would be smart to keep them sort of blissful in ignorance in order to ensure their devotion and approval of the recruiting. As for being creeped out by men in black suits as opposed to men in white robes, I suppose that all depends on your connotation with such things. When I was little I didn't know the difference between someone in a black suit with shades versus someone in a white robe - but I can tell you that I knew when someone had malintention towards me. Kids have that sixth sense. And to have a caretaker that knows all the details of the ceremony and has a clearly ulterior motive in caring for a child would be putting distrust in that child's mind immediately; kids can sense ulterior motives and they can sense when they can't trust someone. A lot of the time at least.
