Before I forget, I want to say that Yousef and Jackson did a great job in this video. Jackson especially did well conveying his distress over Bree. Also, I think this was Yousef looking at his best yet. |

Ribosomes are cell organelles that are essential to the translation phase of protein synthesis.
Ribozymes are molecular "scissors", as Daniel said, used in the splitting/synthesis of individual RNA strands.
Basic grade 12 biology -- if we're to digest all of the information they just gave us, at least get your facts straight. |
I learned that during the beginning of 7th grade.
I *knew* it had to do with protein synthesis. I posted that on the last video.
Turns out, TCC is also a code for an amino acid... hmm... |
Yaaaayyyy! I'm so excited that there are other fellow bio nuts out here!
And FYI - I was referring to the study of ribozymes when I said "grade twelve biology." I'd expect people below that grade level to know about ribosomes, lol. My 12 year old sister was "teaching me" about them just the other day, to prepare for a test. |
=D
I was tested on that a few weeks ago.
xD
Last night, I stayed up for two hours reading through my science textbook and notes. My mom was like, "Are you STUDYING?"
I said, "Uh... no. It's lonelygirl15 stuff."
"Oohh... okay. That's makes sense."
I never study. xD
But, now, what does this meaaaannn? _________________ Sorry, what's that I hear?

I feel quite useless this time, as I mentally blocked out any science or math classes I took during high school. Much like Samara, there's a reason I'm now a double major in English and History |

Remember one of the audition questions involved stopping the aging process.
Sounds to me like The Order/HoO is on a quest to find the Fountain of Youth. It's reminding me a lot of Dr. Heidegger's Experiment. |

LMAO oh my god. I'm not even into the video yet really and I have to post. "How scary was that to watch Bree sing the eternal FREAK song?!" LMAO. Oh wow Jonas. And then Daniel "Shes a zombie" and hes like into zombies right? So um odd connection there. _________________ "Would you rather be dumber than you look or look dumber than you are?" -Jonas

Thats what I'm thinking. Daniel said that something about what Bree has "creates life"
I mean....they quote the guy everywhere. He must have been important. |

Here's my thought: Bree, having an abnormally high ribozyme count, would pretty much be a smorgasbord of fun ribozyme delight. Could it be that the Order is trying to re-create that "early life", using her inner biology as a catalyst? I suppose we should start asking ourselves what exactly the Order expects to do with that knowledge... maybe they're looking for a cure... for death?
Gah, that makes no sense. Anywho, these are just some science-y ramblings from my sleep-deprived brain... I think I'm going to go bang my face on my keyboard for a bit. Ciao for now!
Edited to make this jumbled mess more coherent. Oh, and fix typos, because I'm dumb. |
It makes perfect sense! Many religions have the idea of an afterlife, one theory is that is calms and soothes the believers anxiety about death. According to Bree's scary Hymn of One infomercial, they don't believe in an afterlife. So... in terms of the religious doctrine being complimentary to their goals... it would make perfect sense! |
