It is not that difficult to see his parents not caring at all. I have seen that kind of stuff happen before.
But, maybe the Order grabbed them a while back and are interragating them. But, you think you would have seen a vid where the Oder tells DB to give up Bree or they will kill his parents or something.
Or maybe they are already dead.
You never know...

Having every single person connected to the order wouldn't be a smart move. It's not realistic.
It's weird that we hear nothing about his parents, but hey, it happens. They probably just really don't care. |

I doubt they are dead. OpAphid was the one who bugged Daniel and Bree's rooms. As we know, Oppy didn't communicate everything she knew to the other groups in the Order. The Order may not even know the location of his home. |

That's true. I dont really think they are dead, but the only thing that made sense was either they didnt care about DB, or, well...
I just think they do not care, that would make the most sense to me.

Maybe they are looking for him, who knows? Maybe they are worried sick, we just don't knwo about it?  |

I really don't think they are connected to the order in anyways.
They are just dead beat parents.

Keep in mind, everyone, we only see about 3 minutes in a 24 hour day. Who knows weather Daniel has contacted his parents? They could be having no worries simply because they think their son has decided to share accommodations with his friends. It wouldn't be at all unnatural for a kid to move out of the house and into a friends at age 18.

The idea about Daniel contacting his parents is plausible, but I don't think that they are in any way connected w/ the Order. I always thought that Daniel was just the friendly kid who found out that his best friend was wrapped up in a cult and helped her out, (to the extent of leaving town) nothing more.

hes a very dedicated friend (unlike some people i know *coughcough*) the only real friend bree had.. and he cared enough to help her run away from a cult hed never heard of.
and yes, if hes connected to the order, i will have given up all my faith in both the creativity of the Creators and the purity of daniel's intentions. |

Like Sarah, I was out of the house as soon as I graduated at 17. My parents didn't care. I checked in every couple weeks.
But, if Daniel's parents are suffering still from alcoholism (I've forgotten, has he said they cleaned up?), then Daniel, unfortunately is not on their minds.
I do wonder if he isn an only child. Has that ever been said? (I know about the FanFic little brother, but in the series)
