You guy's really need to speak to someone in England before you try to use our slang terms.
How the f--- is P. Monkey a wanker? Where did that come from?
You've really lost the plot here. That comment was soooo out of context that it's laughable. |

Explain how calling someone a wanker is so laughable? I don't understand how it was used incorrectly? Besides...there's talk of it being a hint, etc... |

If you intend to use British slang in your vlogs I suggest you speak to someone in Britain, like me for example, to make sure they are appropriate.
The use of the word Wanker was out of context. Here are some reasons...
1) In the UK, the word Wanker is a much more impacting insult. You might use the term Motherf**ker in a similar context.
2) It means someone who Masterbates lots.
3) Gemma just didn't say it right.

OK, You need more info....
In the UK a Wanker is someone who masterbates excessively.
It does not mean silly and its quite a harsh insult. |

You know, PushedButton, LG15 is made in the US. So maybe I don't realize how much offensive that insult is in England, but "wanker" is actually used a lot. Look at the word "f**k". It's so overused, it doesn't mean a thing anymore. Even Bree used it. I'm sorry proper english is somehow a dead language, but YOU made it the universal language. So we killed it! |

I agree...I mean, I see it used ALL the time the way that Gemma used it...hence why I didn't understand why it was brought up. But..meh...I don't think it's what we were supposed to be looking at in the video. |

I do agree, but the thing is I hear these words mostly from kids! Grandma never used it. |

I just wanted to point out that an English character would not use the word Wanker in that context. If it was an American character I woudn't have flinched, but as Gemma is supposed to be speaking British English, the term wanker has been misinterpreted.
I'm not about to get into an argument about who spells things correctly and things like that, but as Gemma is supposed to be English. I am English. I'm not arguing that All Americans talk a funny version of English, I am saying an English character said something odd enough to terminate my suspension of disbelief. |
