It's possible that the Watchers are doing a better job of blending in after being caught on video. If I were in charge of the Watchers that would have meant a SEVERE reprimand unless the intent was to let B&D know they were there. |
So the Creators have a dilemma....make the Watchers do their job and be invisible or make them fairly obvious so we can see them, thus, making them look like idiots, which also makes D&B look like idiots if they don't see them.  |
That's where Gemma comes in - she sees the things we miss (like tiny Watcher tattoos).

No, the homeless guy is not a watcher. I think he was shown so that we could see the severity of B&D's situation. They are no longer in their clean cut worid.
Also to the posters that want to see the "old" Bree. That Bree right now is gone. How can she possible still be the cute little Bree, making cookies and proving science wrong? Her whole life has been turned upside down. We are in the process of seeing the little Bree grow up and mature, and rightly so.

Just found the info: it was in Daniel's "Jonas?" video. There was a discussion about it in this thread. Check out the screen cap with the arrow.
Not sure what this means, unless it's some kind of extremely subtle symbolism. (Or, OTOH, sheer coincidence.) |

Okay, I dont know how to quote. It is probably freakishly easy but someone, I believe on page 7, said they miss the funny Bree.
Yes, that was fun for a while but to have a good, well formed character you need to have depth and change. She needs to mature sometime through this because it is getting unrealistic her immaturity. It is nice to see her showing some maturity.
Also, I have been homeless at one point with my boyfriend and there are many ways to get food. For me normally I will go to Waffle House and if you ask if you can get anything for free they will sometimes give you like a waffle, or toast. You have to suck up your pride for that though. You can also go to a nicer hotel, pretend you are staying there and have their continental breakfast. Way better than eating out of the dumpster. I have never resorted to that. There is always a way to get food.
Well that is my two cents.
I personally liked the change of tone.
OH! Almost forgot. Again dont know how to quote so there was someone else saying they dont like how the series seems like the creators view our comments then make videos based off of that but this is what it is suppose to be. This new web medium is suppose to be based off of our feedback, the audience is very much involved in this.

Yeah, I just saw a documentry last night about a homeless guy who ate at hotels that had free breakfast. He also used some very nice restrooms to clean up in. All in all, he didn't even look like the sterotypical "homeless" guy.
On another note, I wonder how long it will be before Bree and Daniel's things get stolen? Their motel room was already ransacked, but they haven't really hit rock bottom yet.

Ok. First off. When people used to ring Brother and he would say something about his partner, then say woops I meant my sister (or something along those lines, I'm sorry, I've only read a few threads, I feel I am too behind on the OpAphid, Tachyon, Brother plot to catch up, but anyway) the fact that they know all this stuff before it happens (Tachyons reference to warwalking, etc) I think the Creators may have included the plot in such a way as to make Bree similar to Tachyon but in a different way OK! I AM OFFICIALLY BABBLING!
I'm just trying to give some background before I say: When Bree *stutters* as she says 'p-parents' I got the feeling she was going to say something different. WHAT IF! she was going to say partner/s??! Hmm? What if they aren't even her parents? I mean, normally if an actor makes a mistake they redo it, or edit it out. This was DELIBERATE!
Secondly, could I have a link to the videos about the cams in brees room and dans room? and any other linked footage please?
Thirdly, Dan looks hot
Fourthly, where was Owen? I never saw him?!@
Fifthly, this was definitely made to get us to see Jonas in a better light
Sixthly, I think the Order is intelligent and has realised that a guy in sunglasses and a black suit is a bit conspicuous, and knows that children are rarely seen as dangerous or cunning. By having a child with them they lose all suspicion, yeah?
Seventh, what was the marking on the door behind Bree at the end?? It doesn't match any warchalking markings. It is too big, too white and too well placed to be coincidental. I'll try and screenshot |

Daniel looked pretty dreamy in this video. saying that out loud makes me lame.
I really loved this video. It was, indeed, "pretty". It was very arty.
I agree with the comment about the hesitation in Bree's voice when she says she needs to find her parents.
She actually says "I want to find my hara, parents." it seems like a cognitive slip, but the "heritage" thought is an interesting one
and she also says "the order is everywhere."
these are both really strange things to say. I'd like her to finally tell daniel SOMETHING. The OPAPHID business about the old community was what I thought to be the begininning of information revealed. Guess not.
Jonas is a bad guy. It's obvious. A handsome bad guy, but isn't that always the way?
The mature bree was a nice change in the video too. I have to admit, she was getting WAY too whiny in the past few. Holy. But the moment where she explains about her stuffed animals was pretty revealing.
good video. Let's have more like this. |

I certainly hope that Jonas is the bad guy. He's already gained my disapproval by just being... himself.
I'm not actively following the Oppy arch, but I watched the newest video, and it was pretty suspenseful to me.

Yeah what was up with the freaky bum dude and that watcher looking vehicle behind Daniel in that one shot? creepy for sure. Overall i thought this video really showed a much more mature side to Bree than we have recently seen she explained why she talked to her animals so much and really seemed very clear headed as opposed to some comments i have seen on here about her being somewhat disconnected from reality. It was totally far from that and give it up for Daniel being a man and staying around and not ditching Bree you got a true friend there. It certainly has hit rock bottom for both Bree and Daniel living in a warehouse and dumpster diving but hey i still think there is hope go to Jonas! Give him a chance, he can help. Many say he shouldn't be trusted but until there is full blown evidence to the contrary go and eat a good meal and have a nice shelter to stay in and then maybe they will have a full clear perspective of what to do about finding Bree's parents. I mean Jonas isn't going to do anything as long as Daniel sticks around. Let's get this show on the road fo sho.

Have you seen the OpAphid video? The Order has cameras in Bree's house and I think outside too, if I am remembering correctly. I don't think going home is a good idea. |
Okay...There may be cameras in her house, so what, like I said, all the Order is doing is watching them, if the Order wanted B&D they could easily capture them. But running from the Order doesn't make any sense, they're everywhere, just like Bree said, so why run? Bree needs answers, and the only way to get answers is go and confront Lucy or the deacons. The Order has chosen Bree for a special ceremony, they took her parents, they're letting Bree just run the streets acting like a complete fool, there is aboslutely no reason for her to be running, it doesn't make sense. The Order hasn't done anything to make Bree run. Bree and Daniel went on the run in the first place cause they saw Bree's parents willingly getting into Lucy's car, not being held at gun point or anything, so what the realistic thing to do at that point would of been to go to Lucy's apartment and ask her whats going on.
Anyway nothing makes sense, gah someone needs to learn how to tell a story. |
Yeah, but I think ALL of this goes back to the whole free will thing.....even if they are pushed/tricked into decisions...well....it is still their choice.....Jonas??? |

Well, based on the fact that her parents had her go stay at Daniel's, then left a note and money for her to find after they were taken away, which said that she should stay with Daniel, it is quite probable that her parents told her to make herself scarce, hide out, whatever term you'd like to use. They didn't decide to do this on a whim. |

The homeless man is NOT wearing black. His coat is brown, and his pants are white. And his shirt is totally non existant.

I though this was a good vid. It gave a clearer image on what is the reality of their situation. As much I don't want them to go to Jonas, looks like they have run out of options. Being on the run doesn't stink as much when you've got a place to stay. I know from experience. 
It would be cool if they see someone from the Order and then make a run for Jonas' House. I'm sure they are near by it. |
