I agree with you there, Lurker. I don't trust Gemma any father than.. well, I just don't trust her much. But I'm not out to judge anyone either. To me, she still has time to prove herself and plead her case. Though that time is running short.

And... How does Bree know "one of her oldest friends is a liar" if she's been locked in her room for three days?
PLUS, Bree and Daniel have never referenced a Tachyon video (as if their characters don't see them) yet Jonas has Tachyon footage.
Something is not right here.

Daniel referenced Tachyon when they ditched the car...but not the video itself.

Well, in the event that Gemma was making videos for the Order all along, the wilting rose from her recent video (which many interpet to mean guilt) could indicate that she's changing loyalties. For that matter, she's said recently that Bree shouldn't trust even her.
Another possibility (maybe not as likely as the first) is that Gemma really was in London previously but has now gone to California and pretended to be there to help the Order. She could have said that she would be useful because Bree trusts her some, even while she might be trying to find some information about the location of Bree's parents.
There's plenty of possibilities. I don't think it's as cut and dry as it looks here. |

Maybe being the main characters, Bree and Daniel, don't watch Tachyon's or Op Aphid's videos. But Jonas (and Gemma), as a supporting character(s), can... I don't really have much to back this hypothesis up, though.

This is just another reason why I trust my theory even more-
Bree, Daniel, and Jonas are running a scam. Tachyon's video's weren't mentioned before because they wanted the Order to think they didn't know what was going on. Jonas had to acknowledge them now because Tachyon made the Gemma video's public, and there was way to much discussion about them here on the forums.
At least, that is what I am hoping for. I want to trust Jonas, but I am still not so sure.

I definately think that Gemma had been in London, but decided to intervene somehow and come to the states. Remember this?
She was rumaging through her bag in that video where she was pacing...I believe this was showing her getting ready to go somewhere.

on a sort of unrelated subject, it's interesting to note that that makes two videos in a row where the characters have taken special care to point out the stories of people who have/had normal, high-earning jobs and either left them or took time off from them to do not so normal or less high-earning things -- first Daniel talks to the mortgage broker on the train who rides the rails two months a year, and then Jonas talks to the bakery owner who used to be a big shot ad exec and gave it up.

I was thinking the same thing. It is not much of a coincidence actually. I fear that the Order is tightening the noose! If my hunch is correct, then these individuals are not just there by accident. They were trying to find out about Jonas (if he is not part of the order).
