Gemma: Hi Bree. I remember OpAphid. It's something I remember when I was in the South African community. It's an acronym, right? When we met people who didn't understand us, we'd acknowledge their position and help initiate a dialogue. Anyway, I can completely relate to what your saying about awkward silences. (There is a picture of her with no sound.) My flatmate and I are barely speaking to each other. Part of it stems from her inability to load a dishwasher. Who puts the bowls where the plates are supposed to go? It boggles my mind! We had it out the other night; she accused me of being too particular of how I do things. I'm sorry if I don't like my peas touching my chips, it's just that they'll turn into a soggy mess. Yeah, it's to the part of that we are watching TV together, and I don't want to see Little Britain for the 100th time. So I literally have to pry the controller from her hands. And she'll come over and try and take it from me! It's just a nice sense of propriety. The good news is that I don't have to listen to her impression of Vickie Parlah(?) anymore. Ugh. See Bree, there are worse things that silence. And unlike my flatmate, Daniel's not a lost cause. You've been through so much together. Now you should make up, go outside, and get some fresh air. You've been cooped up in that hotel room for far too long.
