Anything can happen on Halloween! is the ninety-eighth webisode in the KateModern video series.


(Gavin and Lee are in the office. A very bored Lee sits down with a waste bin taped to the top of his head. Gavin crumples a piece of paper and tosses it into bin.)

Lee: (makes trumpeting noise) Crikey!

Gavin: Well, it's 7 pm and this is when the real work should be starting. We're just about ready to start shooting our investment video so now we have to put the hours in. It's not time for Tariq to be disappearing off to Julia to go trick or treating with her or whatever he's doing. I mean, he's probably cooking her a ratatouille as we speak. (crumples another piece of paper and tosses it into bin)

Lee: (trumpeting noise) Crikey!

Gavin: Oh and then there's this list of office rules. (rips list of rules from wall and shows it to camera) Rule #7: No blogging at work! You see, he's trying to tell me that we've been spending more time posting videos than we have on the actual software. (crumples paper and tosses it towards bin, but misses)

Lee: Uh-uh... try again.

Gavin: He's changed since he started going out with Julia. All he wants to do now is get it done as soon as possible so he can get out the door and go back home to her. That's not what I got into business with him! It's not about just corking off as soon as possible. (turns to Lee) Is it, Lee?

Lee: No, sir.

Gavin: Could be worse, could still be with Kate. And did you see that video last week though? What was all that about? I thought I had logged on to a dodgy stupid horror film. (laughs) I didn't know Charlie had it in her. Definitely not going to leave the toilet seat up again. And the really funny thing about that video was, I was just most surprised that Kate didn't melt into a puddle and scream, like when they poked her with that serum. But no seriously, I'm a little bit worried about Charlie. Cause I think she's been a little bit stressed lately. I think she should take some time off from work. But she won't listen, will she?

Lee: No, sir.

Gavin: I wasn't talking to you.

Lee: Sorry, boss.

(Gavin crumbles another piece of paper and tosses it into the bin.)

Lee: (sighing then making trumpeting noise) Crikey. (looks at camera and mouths "wanker")

Gavin: I don't think I'm going to get bored of this for a while though. Stay there. (crumples paper, moves further away then throws paper, hitting Lee in the face)
