When I was organizing images into categories earlier, I came across this category and I thought, gee, it should really be "Images" with a capital "I".  There weren't too many pics already in the category, so I figured it wouldn't be too much work to go and just change them, so I moved everything from [[:Category:OpAphid images]] to [[:Category:OpAphid images]].  However, while doing that... I came upon the unfortunate realization that many other categories also use the lowercase "images", including [[:Category:NBR images]], [[:Category:Tachyon images]], [[:Category:Brother images]], [[:Category:Immant images]], and [[:Category:itscassie images]].  I don't know what to do because, naturally, the intuitive thing to do is have all image-related categories start with "Images of" and then stick to starting letters in a capital.  It would make it a lot easier to categorize, especially since the wiki doesn't know I mean the same thing by "OpAphid images" as by "OpAphid Images".  And yet, it seems like it would just be too much work for too little benefit to go and change all these.  It still bugs me though.  All I can say is... rawr! angry!

Deletion?

I didn't realize that this was a redundant category until I came across Category:OpAphid Images, and I think if we delete it it'll help prevent others from making the mistake I made (which was adding this category to images, instead of the other one ^^;;). -- tai 02:30, 16 February 2007 (CST)

I'm not whether to delete this one or the capital "I" one. I was working on the message below when you posted this. OwenIsCool 02:34, 16 February 2007 (CST)

Category naming conventions

When I was organizing images into categories earlier, I came across this category and I thought, gee, it should really be "Images" with a capital "I". There weren't too many pics already in the category, so I figured it wouldn't be too much work to go and just change them, so I moved everything from Category:OpAphid images to Category:OpAphid images. However, while doing that... I came upon the unfortunate realization that many other categories also use the lowercase "images", including Category:NBR images, Category:Tachyon images, Category:Brother images, Category:Immant images, and Category:itscassie images. All I can say is... rawr! angry! Yeah, I noticed that too.  :/ Well, I'm willing to re-categorize, if that's the decision everyone agrees on. I don't mind the work, it gives me something to do. -- tai 02:49, 16 February 2007 (CST)
