Many fans criticized Jonas's "virtual tour" of his house because it actually never showed more than his very barren upstairs hallway. He pointed out the doors to his parents room and his own from the hallway, but never went inside any rooms.

Transcript

(Jonas is in the library.)

Jonas: Hey, listen, Bree, Daniel, what're you guys doing? You know, you're living in an abandoned building and you're eating garbage. I just think it's ridiculous that you guys are suffering when you could be here with me. I've asked you a buncha times, I've sent messages, went in the chat room... I guess you just don't trust me. I don't know what to do about that, don't know how to convince you, so, I figured in the meantime, I'll make a little video, a little tour of my house and prove to you that I've got room for you both. Maybe that'll help. Maybe it will. I dunno. Let's go. (Jonas is sitting on the stairs.) This place has a few spare bedrooms so the good news is you both'll have a little space of your own. I never had any brothers or sisters so I'd think it'd be kinda cool to share this place with someone. (Jonas is standing in a hall.) So, after my parent's... disappearance, umm, my nanny was appointed my guardian and a bunch of lawyers took care of all the money and stuff like that. My nanny, she was the sweetest lady on Earth, and she raised me since I was a kid, but, umm, you know, she left when I was 18. She just wanted to live closer to her grandkids and I don't blame her. You know, this place is so isolated, it's in the middle of nowhere. But, uhh, I miss her. (Jonas is in front of a closed door.) This is my parent's room. Nobody's allowed in there. It's just too personal. (Jonas is in another hallway.) So, up here is my bedroom, uhh, and the spare bedroom, that's usually where my friends crash. Daniel, Mr. Beast if I can call you that, that's where you can stay. (A Rhyming Dictionary by The Seldon Plan plays in the background.) Bree, you can have your own bedroom and bathroom downstairs. So, I'm not going to show you my room. I'm not going to do the whole Cribs thing where I point to the bed and go "This is where all the magic happens." It's kinda cheesy. (Jonas is back in the library.) Guys, I really wanna help you. I don't know how else to convince you. You know, if showing you that there's an alternative to sleeping on the streets didn't do it, I dunno, maybe you can gimme a test or something, I dunno. So that's it. That's my offer. Uhh, if you still don't wanna take it, just get yourselves off the streets, alright? It's not safe. Alright, later guys.

Many fans criticized Jonas's "virtual tour" of his house because it actually never showed more than his very barren upstairs hallway (very different from the library). He pointed out the doors to his parents room and his own from the hallway, but never went inside any rooms.
