How to Download off Bebo
- Older videos using the VideoEgg embed:
- Get the embed code
- Copy the url in the file parameter
- tack _high.flv onto the end and try to open it. Voila!
- New videos using ooyala:
- Check internet cache for extension-less files downloaded from l3.c.ooyala.com/cacheable/[vidembedcode]
- Good luck figuring out the order. The best solution is to watch the video in its entirety and sort by download date.
Bigger versions of Flickr photos I can't see? Say what?
- Right click on the photo on inside LG15 and go to "Properties".
- Look at the URL. This trick will ONLY work with images hosted on Flickr, so if you don't see that in the URL, you're SOL.
- Drag the image to URL bar (or, I suppose, you can copy the URL).
- Tack _b to the image name right before .jpg. If _m or _s are already in the URL string, simply change the letter to b.
- Example: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3217/2331349985_b1bb4b656b_b.jpg
- Voila! If the larger image doesn't exist, try _o instead. If it still doesn't exist, the version posted to the blog is the largest available. (Assuming the version posted doesn't have an underscore letter in the URL. If it does, try removing the letter altogether.)
