Transcript

(Charlie is in her car, with clothes piles in the back.)

Charlie: Hey. The whole thing with Steve banging on the door the other night, it reminded me of something. I-I've been thinking about all of the other people in Kate's life, and I had a look through her things to see if there was anything that might help. Take a look at this.

(Cut to video of Kate sitting in her room.)

Kate: (Sighs.) Last night I woke up to the sound of banging at my door at, like, 2 A.M. It seems my ex-boyfriend, drunk out of his mind, thought he should come 'round and tell me that we should get back together.

(Cut to footage of Kate, seemingly cut footage from I like Pigeons!.)

There's really not much to talk about my ex, apart from the fact that we are no longer together, he's not a very nice guy, I'm totally over him, and he should stop coming 'round and disturbing me. (Takes off her scarf.) It's just unfair and I am with someone else now. And I really, really from the bottom of my heart would appreciate if you respected me to just please leave me alone. It's just... No point.

(Cut to more footage of Kate sitting in the main room of the flat.)

The ex is back. (The doorbell rings and Kate squints.) I answered the buzzer and now he won't leave me alone 'cause he knows I'm in here. (The doorbell rings again.)

(Cut to Kate nearer the door. Knocking and ringing of the doorbell can be heard numerous times.)

Shit! This has to stop. Fucking- (Walks to the door.) Leave me alone! Stop banging on the door; I'm gonna call the police!

Kate's ex: (Bangs on the door.) Open the door!

Kate: Stop banging! Right, I'm calling the police now. (Heading to the main room.) I'm dialing the phone! (More banging and ringing of the doorbell can be heard.) Where's my phone? I need my phone. (Kate grabs her phone as her ex yells at her.)

(Cut back to Kate from the original clip, talking to the camera.)

If you are out there, it's over. Finished. Forever. Full stop. Will you please try to remember this the next time you drown your sorrows in beer?

(Charlie comes in.)

Charlie: Okay, I'm just borrowing a brush.

Kate: Yeah, it's fine.

Charlie: Who're you talking to?

Kate: Nobody.

Charlie: Is that a webcam?

Kate: No... I'm-

Charlie: You're blogging, aren't you?

Kate: No.

Charlie: What are you talking about?

(Cut back to Charlie in her car.)

Charlie: I can't believe I never thought of this before. This guy was a total psycho. I mean, it could be nothing, but Kate could never get him out from under her skin. Maybe she ran to him when she ran away. I've got a really weird feeling about this. I think I need to find this guy.
