The comment board refers to the comments section on the main page of the old lonelygirl15.com. Below each video, people can leave comments. Although initially not a popular feature, the comment boards eventually grew to be the home of a small community of comment board regulars.
When lonelygirl15 videos were only posted on YouTube most discussion of the series took place in the comment section of YouTube. In August, most serious discussion moved from YouTube to the phorum at lonelygirl15.com. Many fans, however, found the forums intimidating and began to congregate on the comment boards.
