Transcript

Jonas: All right, it's the moment of truth. If Hymn of None's little game plan doesn't work out, then we're screwed.

Sarah: Why don't we just put our faith in the, ah, faceless zealots because that always works out so well for us.

Jonas: Well, you know, what was I supposed to do? It's not like we have a lot of options here, Sarah.

Sarah: Yeah, w- w- we- we're going the wrong way.

Jonas: What? No we're not.

Sarah: No, we are. We're supposed to be on the southeast side.

Jonas: Right. We are on the south east side. (Turns map upside down) Try it like that. There you go.

Sarah: Oh.

Jonas: Let's go.

(Cut to Sarah and Jonas inside the building where the Samsaran Doctrine is located. The two walk to a balcony overlooking the book, which is being guarded by a security guard.)

Sarah: Ready?

Jonas: What? Ready? Ready for what?

Sarah: Just follow my lead. (Grabs Jonas by the hand and begins pulling him down the stairs)

Jonas: What? No!

Sarah: Come on.

Jonas: No!

Sarah: (Gasp) Oh my gosh! Would you look at that ceiling? It's- it's just awe- I mean, we don't get things like that at home, do we honey?

Security Guard: Ma'am? Can you leave this area? Please? Please! (Points at Jonas) Shut down the- (Sarah grabs the book) Ma'am!

Sarah: (Gasp) The Samsaran Doctrine! It's even more beautiful... Ugh, my eternal song is singing its heart out right now!

Security Guard: Put the book down now!

(The security guard tries to grab the book from Sarah's grasp and Jonas punches him in the face. The camera, the security guard, and the book fall to the ground. The security guard grabs Jonas by the legs and pulls him down on the floor with him.)

Security Guard: Backup! I need backup!

Jonas: Sarah! Grab the book!

(Sarah's hands are seen grabbing the book. Another security guard approaches Jonas and tousles with him. Jonas knocks him to the ground and grabs the camera. He hits the first guard with the camera, knocking him down as well. Jonas begins to run down a hallway and an alarm goes off as he is running.

Jonas: Shit. Shit, shit, shit.

(Jonas approaches the exit when another guard knocks him to the ground. The guard grabs the camera and Sarah appears and thwacks him with the Samsaran Doctrine.)

(Third security guard approaches and Sarah thwacks with the Samsaran Doctrine)

Sarah: You ok?

Jonas: Yeah. (Grabs the camera) Come on.

(The two start running again and burst through a side door.)

  • The title of this video is a reference to the 1976 song "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" by AC/DC.
  • At 0:15, you can see palm trees on the left side of the frame, which is either evidence that this scene was not actually filmed on location in Chicago, or that global warming is much more advanced than previously thought.
