(Camera shows clothes and suitcases partially packed lying across Jennie's bed)
(Jennie is shown standing next to her bed)
Jennie: Well, uh, still here. I packed up my life last week, unpacked it on Friday, and now I'm packing again. I decided to stay. As much as I wanted to leave, and I really did, in the end, it just didn't feel right. Jonas is taking last week's threat really seriously; he's determined to stay away, but we're taking it seriously too, so we're leaving the house for a bit, going somewhere new. I really hope that when Jonas and see each other that we can work something out but until that happens, I just think that leaving would be like unfinished business and that's the worst way to end a relationship. I think we can all agree on that.
(Camera shows Jennie in front of her bed packing up clothes)
Jennie: Besides, I can't leave now that Jonas is the target of The Ascension. For some reason, The Order is out to eliminate him, (whispers) just him. I can't leave him with a death threat over his head. If something happened, I would never be able to live with myself.
(Jennies packes some clothes into bags.)
(Cut to close-up of Jennie sitting at her desk)
Jennie: Okay, so I've been trying to figure this stuff out--I mean, who left that message for Jonas? Right? And more importantly, are they trying to help him or hinder him? Was it a warning? Is it a trap or-I-"
(Jennie rubs her eyes in frustration)
Jennie: It's all so speculative! You know, I do so much better with facts. And we only have one, solid one. The solar eclipse is upon us. That's what the message said. When the moon passes between the sun and the earth it obscure our view of the sun. Okay, that's the science behind a solar eclipse. But spirituality, well, ancient cultures believed it was an awakening of some sort. Now what that mean today-to the Order-no idea.
(Camera pans to Jennie's research on the solar eclipse)
Jennie: It says right here that the next solar eclipse will occur on August 1, 2008 and it will be a total eclipse.
(Camera turns back to Jennie)
Jennie: We need to figure what this means to The Order before then and what Jonas' role is in all of it. The clock's ticking.
