(Linc gets out of bed and answers the phone.)
Linc/Text: I'm listening.
(Cuts to a running shower.)
Text: glad (...) (white text runs into a white background and cannot be seen.)
(Cuts to traffic on a busy night.)
Text: Let's get the band back together.
(Cuts to a shot of a beer bottle, an empty pizza box, a phone, and someone's shoe. The shoe moves out of the shot and the phone is picked up.)
Text: Pete.
Female Voice: I love that crazy music. I love that crazy music.
(Cuts to a shot of blush, eyeshadow, facial wash, a toenail clipper, a cell phone, and a hairbush. The phone lights up blue, probably ringing.)

(Cuts to Linc walking out of a store and into his car.)
Female Voice: That stuff (unintelligible: trips? creeps?) me out.
Text: I guess that makes me Linc.
(Shots of various signs at night. Linc walks up the stairs into a motel.)

(Linc walks into the motel room.)
