the corna and satanism

maybe its just me being petty but the next person to associate satanism with the occult and alister crowley is going to get the backhand from me. oh note that i'm not actualy serious about the backhand but i am serious about satanism being pretty lame and not worth talking about. - platypusrex may 17 2007

Hahaha... I hear you, man. Actually, I wasn't intentionally associating Satanism with Crowley, or even with the occult (which is why I listed it separately from "The Occult"). The corna was, in fact, adopted by Anton LaVey as a "Satanic" symbol; there's a picture of him doing it on the back of his "Satanic Bible" [1]. Of course, Crowley and his practices have nothing to do with Satanism, and though I wasn't trying to suggest so, I can see why you thought I was. The whole tone of the note was tongue-in-cheek in my mind, but I guess I was a little too dry. ~ Jbshryne 02:19, 17 May 2007 (CDT)

Soccer*

I thought I'd let you all know that when viewing the Main Page in Mozilla Firefox, Soccer's little "handle" or whatever appears as Soc? but when I view it in IE, It shows as Soc*. Chelseyrl 13:22, 17 May 2007 (CDT)

Check out the discussion at Template talk:Init#Taylor. Apparently, the star doesn't show up in some browsers.--Jonpro 13:32, 17 May 2007 (CDT)
Yeah, I was wondering why it was "Soc?". Don't tell my friend Mike, though, or I'll have to hear more "Failfox" cracks... ~ Jbshryne 14:56, 17 May 2007 (CDT)
Thanks Jon. I knew there had to be a place for it somewhere. Chelseyrl 16:07, 17 May 2007 (CDT)
If your version of Firefox is up-to-date the star will display. We'll get it changed soon... --JayHenry 17:11, 17 May 2007 (CDT)
