(Charlie is following Steve, walking outside.)
Charlie: Look, this is a message for Kate: We've been looking for you for two days now, and we just feel that...
Steve: Oh, this is pathetic! We know where she's gonna be.
Charlie: Well, what? Well, where, then? Where is she?
Steve: It's obvious. We just have to be brave enough to go there. (Walks quickly in front of Charlie.)
Charlie: Steve, wait up!
(Steve waits to cross traffic, and then crosses the street to a house. He motions at the front door with his phone.)
Steve: This is Michelle Clore's house. (Shows his phone to the camera, dispaying a map to the house.) Kate was obviously so deluded that she-... Oh, shit.
Charlie: What?
(The camera pans over to see Michelle Clore and Lucy exiting a black sedan nearby. Charlie runs over to them.)
Charlie: Michelle! Michelle, we've got to talk to Kate!
Michelle Clore: Kate isn't here, but I'm very concerned about her, and have people urgently researching her whereabouts. (Steve approaches Michelle.) It's a terrible thing, eavesdropping. Taken out of context, the wrong information could seriously confuse a fragile mind like Kate's. You never know what could end up on your conscience.
(Lucy places a hand on her arm, and the two leave to go inside the house.)
Steve: Shit. (Runs to the side street.)
Charlie: She was telling the truth back there, wasn't she, Steve?
Steve: Yeah. And if we don't find her before she does, I don't know what's going to happen. Oh, shit... Why do we need her?
Charlie: Kate, please be careful. They're looking for you and they're gonna find you. You can't go with them; please.
