Template:Blog4 Hi Gemma! is the fifty-eighth video in the Lonelygirl15 video series.
Transcript
Bree: Okay, so there's this girl on here and her name is Gemma...and it just so happens that she used to live in Nottinghamshire with me. Basically this whole video is just a big, (Bree slowly waves her hand in a circle) "Hello, how are you, Gemma?" I don't know why you would have thought that I wouldn't remember you. Your dog? Pretty much my best friend. I don't really have any pets. 'Cept for...Purple Monkey and Thor and Owen. (Bree whispers) They're not really pets! Actually... I do have some pets. They're not really mine and they're not really...at all...domestic. I have some turtles. Well, they're not really mine, but there are some turtles that I get to see and...occasionally a gopher or two. I remember that...your mom and my mom used to be really good friends. I don't know if they keep in touch anymore, though. Do they? Your life seems so interesting! I want to live on my own and...and go to university and...just be...independent! Hopefully one day, my parents will let me. I don't know if you've been watching my videos--well obviously you have because...yeah. Anyway, it's really nice to hear from you, I don't usuallly...get to...hear from or talk to anybody that I used to know. So...bye!
Notes
- Before this video was released viewers were uncertain whether Gemma was a real character in the series. This is Bree's first mention of Gemma, and it officially acknowledged her as an official character.
- Bree's shirt has a picture of kiwi on it. People from New Zealand are often referred to as "Kiwis." Jessica Lee Rose, the actress who plays Bree, calls herself a "kiwi" on her MySpace page.
- Bree's hoodie is made by NZ-based clothing company, RPM. RPM is friends with Jessica Rose on Myspace.
