(Jonas is in his room, drawing on the whiteboard. A montage is shown of him trying to figure out ways to get to Carl by writing people and places on the board. He plays with a slinky. Cut to Jennie lying on his bed.)
Jennie: He's been doing this for hours. I think he might be trying to win the Nobel Prize. Hey, Jonas.
Jonas: (Caps his marker and steps away from the board.) Phew! Okay. Okay, so this is everything we know, right here. Alright, my question is: where's Carl been since the last time we saw him?
Jennie: Well, guess what; we have no clue.
Jonas: I'm gonna put on my thinking cap. (Puts on a cowboy hat.) Alright, little lady? Alright, so my next question is: should we try to find out if there's another Lullaby Project somewhere? (Points at the whiteboard.) Huh?
Jennie: I gotta say: you are insanely cute when you get all intense.
Jonas: (Puts his hat on Jennie.) Thanks, little lady. (Jennie laughs.) We've gotta figure this out for Gina. (Snaps his fingers.) Come on, let's focus here. Let's focus.
Jennie: He is cute, though, isn't he?
Jonas: You know, we could try and find Sonia.
Jennie: Yeah... She left the Hymn of One and they beat her up, so...
Jonas: Right. Right, right. (Crosses Sonia's name off the board.) And even if Sonia did know where Carl was, I doubt that she would want to get back together with the, uh, "poster boy" for the Hymn of One, right?
Jennie: You are right. So, here's an idea. I think we should start by, um, looking under your shirt.
(Jennie tries to lift Jonas's shirt up and he smacks her hand away. They both giggle.)
Jonas: You think you're pretty funny, dontcha, huh? Come here! (Playfully attacks Jennie.)
(Cut to Jonas looking at the whiteboard again.)
Jennie: Let's trade. My turn.
Jonas: Alright, here's your marker, lady. (Hands the marker to Jennie.)
(Cut to Jennie erasing the board.)
Jonas: Hey, what- what are you doing?
Jennie: Man. Boys really like to think in deductive reasoning. Which is entirely based on a premise. And a false premise can lead to a false conclusion, so now it's time for the girls' way. Okay. Okay, we need a web. (Makes a circle on the board.) And Carl's gonna be the spider. (Writes "Carl" in the middle of the circle.)
Jonas: The spider, huh?
Jennie: Yessir.
Jonas: Right.
Jennie: See, girls not only do deductive reasoning, we are also naturals at inductive reasoning. (Writes "HoO" and "L.P." on the board.)
Jonas: Uh... Huh. Yeah, um, I've never heard of that before. You ever heard of that? No.
Jennie: It's less about premises and more about just letting things happen in the moment. Which, um, girls are way better at.
Jonas: (Laughs.) Oh god, here we go.
Jennie: Shutup. This is the technique that my social studies teacher used to teach us the Spanish Inquisition. Which is why I will never forget Ferdinand the Second of Aragon and Isabella of Castile, even though I've tried to forever. (Writes Jonas's name on the board.)
Jonas: Alright... Uh, hey, why are you writing my name on there?(Jennie writes "Gina" on the board.)
Jennie: Wow, simmer down. Everybody's name is going on the web. That's the thing about spiderwebs: everybody is inter-connected. (Writes "Daniel" on the board.)
Jonas: Alright.

Jonas: What do you got, Charlotte?
Jennie: Charlotte. Well, who once posted that they felt closer to the Hymn of One than their own family? And who had to be taken by force away from Carl?
Jonas: Sarah. (Jennie circles around Sarah's name.) Good work.
Jennie: It's up to you, Sarah.
Notes
- Jennie presents a radical feminist claim, that females are not only equal to, but better than, their male counter parts in inductive reasoning.
 - Jennie's pseudo-philosophical sophistry is neither inductive, nor is it deductive. Her theory that they ought to probe/examine/rely on the person most closely tied to Carl, is a type of appeal to probability, which is a logical fallacy. Her argument may also fall under the category of an association fallacy, which is roughly related to the red herring style fallacy.
