LGpedia is a wiki and hence communtiy based.  However, there are instances when the Creators of LG15 have certain override privileges. They may insist that a particular template or feature appears on a given page, such as production credits appearing on the video blog pages.  They may also insist upon the creation of specific pages to serve specific purposes such is the case with the The Story So Far... article.  Most people are familiar with the open structure of wikipedia, however this is not always the case in wikis. The rise of world wide web has given rise to many new questions that have not been completely resolved in the courts.  Wikis such as Wikipedia use the GNU Free Documentation License.  However, it has not been  stated what policies are in effect for LGpedia.  It is possible that some rights may remain with the original author or the web site owner (the Creators). Videos posted on Revver are goverened by the Creative Commons Attribution Non-commercial No Derivatives License. With this license, users are free to download and share the videos as long as links are provided back to the owner and credit is given. Ownership remains with the creator of the video. Though some may argue that making videos that include LG15 footage violates the "no derivations" aspect of the above license, fair use principals still apply, allowing for quotation, current-affairs reporting, or parody, which most if not all LG15 fan-videos fall under.  It should be noted however that the video called [[Grillz feat. Danielbeast, LG15, P. The situation is much less clear with screen shots which use a much more limited amount of the source content.  Many fan sites use screen shots for source material and to date this issue has not been challenged in the courts so we do not have any legal guidelines as to whether or not a screen shot is legal or illegal.  Given that lonelygirl15.com is owned by the Creators the issue of screen shot usage on the web site, forums and LGpedia is moot.

What plaform does LGPedia use?
The answer is yes and no. You can use the edit feature to delete information that you have added. However the wiki also has a feature that will allow other users to restore what you attempted to delete.  This is where its important to understand the ownership issue above. If you do not own the copyright to your contribution you cannot force the wiki to delete the contributed information.  Hence, when you make a contribution its best to accept that you are permanently giving away all right to what you have contributed.  In specific case you could add a copyright notice and describe specific terms of use if you so desired.

LGpedians can formally discuss topics by using the user talk feature of the wiki.  To comment on a specific article just click on the "Discuss" icon in the header and leave your commentNote that there is a signature element on the edit menu bar that you can use to sign your discussion commentAlso, if you click on the my talk link at the very top of the page it will take you to a record of comments that have been left for you for discussion.  If someone leaves a comment for you here there is probably a preferred place to respond to it but I am not sure what that is so I hope someone will edit this to add in that information.

The LGPedia is what you're reading right now. It is a wikipedia-styled encyclopedia that documents everything within the LG15 Universe which anyone can edit. The LGPedia was set up by the Creators of lonelygirl15 to give the fan community a place to collect information about the projects.

How do I get started?

If you haven't already, we encourage you to create an account. It's fast, easy and free. If you need help learning to edit, check out our help page. If you're already familiar with wikis, and are looking for ways to contribute, check out the Community Portal. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask one of the LGPedia administrators: Zoey, Jonpro, or Phoenician.

How do I talk to another LGPedia user?

LGPedians can discuss topics by using the user talk feature of the wiki. To comment on a specific article just click on the "Discussion" icon in the header and leave your comment. Sign comments on talk pages by typing ~~~~ at the end of your comment. This will automatically leave your name and the time of your comment.

Who controls LGPedia?

LGPedia is a wiki and hence community based. Since the wiki is hosted at lg15.com, a site owned by the Creators of lonelygirl15, they do have final say on any issue at the wiki. In the past, the Creators have taken a mostly passive role, occasionally making requests such as including production credits on videos or requesting creation of The Story So Far... article.

Generally issues at the wiki are settled by consensus. The LGPedia does, however, have a small crew of administrators:
