Bree's bedroom

Most of the early Lonelygirl15 videos take place in Bree's bedroom and hence it provides a fertile hunting ground for clues as to the plot of Lonelygirl15. On this page we will describe the room, catalogue its contents and discuss their relevance to the plot.

Overall

Bree's room is shown in the fullest detail in the video What Did Daniel and Dad Talk About?, in which Bree hung a blanket from the wall in the corner of her room over her bed. She expressed doubts about the aesthetic value of the blanket, but it has remained there ever since. Bree's room has a single door near the corner opposite her computer desk (Bree is often facing that same corner when filming, and that corner is only briefly glimpsed in the mirror once). On the back of the door, Bree has a photo collage picture board (placed there during the filming of Daniel Returns, and More Interesting Factoids (Yay!)). Next to the door to the right, there is a floor lamp, and then Bree's bed, with the blanket hanging over it. Behind the lamp, there is a picture too small to make out, and over Bree's bed there is a picture of a house. On the wall to the right of Bree's bed is a small painting of a flower in a vase, a wall calendar (showing a picture of two kittens in a basket in August), and a picture of a buttterfly. To the other side of the door, there is a bookshelf with a small candelabra on top, above which there is a picture of Aleister Crowley. (A different, unidentified picture was there in earlier episodes.) Next to the candelabra is a framed photo of three young men wearing suits. Past the bookcase is a mirrored closet, and past that is a curtained window with another bookcase beneath it, draped in purple cloth. The top of this bookcase is covered with various items, including numerous candles. Bree's computer desk is smallish and made of wood, with a metal-and-plastic chair in front of it and a multicolored paper lantern hanging over it.

Stuffed animals

Bree has a collection of stuffed animals which include P. Monkey, Owen, and Thor. In the top right of her bedroom there is a hangling thingie where Thor "lives".

Bree has a very intimate relationship with her stuff animals and consider them as 'friends". However, in several of the videos stuff animals have been seen laying on the floor. This may just be sloppy teen behavior but it has also let to speculation that Bree might act out her emotion with her stuffed animals. For example, in Daniel, Be Careful... Thor is seen laying on the floor behind her. This is at a time where Bree is very angry with Daniel and it is possible that Bree acted out her emotions in a violent act against Thor.

The bookshelf

It would be very useful to know what books are present on the bookshelf.

The box

A lot of recent discussion has focussed on a box on top of Bree's bookcase. In the early videos the box was closed. After the ceremony the box is now open.

The Aleister Crowley shrine

Above the bookshelf there is what appears to be a shrine to Aleister Crowley. The shrine is composed a a picture of Aleister Crowley and a set of candles.

The picture of a house

Since the picture of a house has been positioned clearly visible in almost all the videos in [[Breee}}'s bedroom, it would seem reasonable to assume that it has some relevance to the story line.

The map of the U.S.A.

In Where's Daniel? [[Bree] has a large map of the USA on her bed. It is not clear where this map came from because it had not been seen in previous videos.
