Transcript

(Shot of Charlie's chin, upside down, with paper eyes stuck to it.)

Charlie: Jamie Bell is cute. He's in this film that Gav's been going on and on and on about, and I happened to bump into him in a bar. Gav is so jealous. Except for the fact that my little five seconds of fame with Jamie was cut short when I bumped into creepy Steve and ended up chasing him down the road and screaming at him. I feel kinda bad about it, actually. I feel like I forced Kate to find out the truth about Steve, and, you know, maybe it wasn't the best approach. I guess it's just like what my sister, Rose, used to say... "hot-headed Charlie! Shoots first and asks questions later." I miss her though. Especially her little girl Kim. She's really cute and I'm missing watching her grow up.

(Knock on the door. Camera zooms out and we see Charlie's real face. She's lying on the bed. Steve is heard off-camera.)

Steve: Kate? How are you?

(Kate and Steve are heard yelling in the background.)

Charlie: Steve's in the living room. Kate's let him in.

Steve: Why do you say that all the time? (Kate mumbles something.) Kate? Kate! Let me explain! Just calm down, yeah?

(Kate walks into view, brandishing a frying pan.)

Kate: I am not a child, Steve.

Steve: It'll be ok. (Inaudible)

Kate: Don't change the subject!

Charlie: This is all my fault, I think I've wound her up.

Kate: Who are you and what is going on?

Steve: Kate, I've told you, there's nothing to worry about.

Charlie: This is really freaking me out. I think I have to go in there and help her get rid of him.

Kate: Don't touch me!

(Kate hits Steve with the pan and he falls, unconscious. Shot of Kate sitting on the couch looking at Steve, who is still unconcious on the floor.)

Charlie: Kate? What the hell have you done? Kate?

(Kate stares at Steve for a second more, then turns and angrily hits the camera.)

Notes

  • This makes the second time Steve gets attacked on screen (the last was by Tariq).
  • The (inaudible} part of Steve's line sounds something like, "You and I having sex doesn't mean..", suggesting that rumours of the two hooking up may have been true.
