Emma is introduced to Jonas as his little sister in A Family Affair. Whether she is his biological sister is as of yet unclear; however, as her parents belong to the Hymn of One (as Bree's "parents" did), it seems likely that she, too, is adopted. She is a amicable girl who enjoys games like charades, and doesn't seem to mind if she is sent to bed while there's still full daylight.
Emma is the new ceremony girl.
It is possible that the role of Emma is the same character that was listed as "Virginia" in the Craigslist casting notice.
