Allison: This is flowersonmyhat, reporting live from my mom’s room. (Cut to a shot of Allison's mom's room, with a purple sleeping bag rolled out on the floor) We have a lovely view of the carpet, and oh look, my bed! Oh well, it’s not so bad since our air conditioning got fixed. I don’t know if I mentioned it in my last video, but that was the reason for my mysteriously absent hat. My grandma got here two days ago. I hadn’t seen her in about... 8 years because she moved to Canada a long time ago. She’s a lot different than I remember her being, a lot more... energetic, I guess. I thought we’d be spending time building puzzles, watching Jeopardy, (Jeopardy theme plays as Allison pretends to watch Jeopardy and gets so bored that she falls over). Apparently not. When we picked her up from the airport, she took one look at me and said "Oh, we have a lot of work to do." Since then, we’ve been running around from place to place like madwomen. We went to the doctor and I got another shot, we went to the optometrist and ordered contacts for me (she taps her glasses) they're not here yet, and then we went to the hairdresser and (removes hat) cut my hair. I don’t know why she cared so much, something about "purification", but she just really, really wanted me to cut it, so I agreed. (She plays with her hair) I think it looks okay, don't you? (Cut to a shot of Allison's toes) She even bought nail polish remover and unpolished my toenails. (Cut back to Allison in her hat) I think maybe she’s become a little eccentric since I last saw her. Anyway, I’ll try to keep you guys posted, but according to Grandma, we’ll be busy "preparing", for what, I don’t know. (She waves.) Bye!
