(Charlie is in the bathroom, using night vision. She turns on the water in the sink and splashes her face. Cut to Charlie recording herself in the mirror. Cut to a close-up of a clock ticking; it fast-forwards a few seconds. Cut to Charlie.)
Charlie: Hey. I can't sleep. I've been having nightmares ever since Kate died, and lately they've been getting worse. I just woke Julia up because I was groaning in my sleep. (Cut to Julia sleeping.) But I think she's just drifted off again.
(Cut to the clock ticking. Cut back to Charlie.)
I really think I need some closure on what happened to Kate. (A car honks in the background.) I need to find out what who killed her before I can move on with my life. I just don't understand who would have wanted to kill her; it just doesn't make sense. I mean, where did she go after she left Patricia, what did she do with the list of girls? And maybe she went off with Michelle Clore and worked as her evil assistant. (Sighs.) Yeah right.
What would anyone have to gain by killing Kate? I just wish someone could tell me something about her last few days. Anything.
