No More Lies is the three-hundredth video in the lonelygirl15 video series. It is also the forty-fourth video of season two.

Transcript

(Sarah sits on her bed, next to a houseplant.)

Sarah: I'm trying to be more honest. You know, it's part of this whole "new leaf" thing that I'm turning over. (sighs) I'm a really good liar. But I'm finding that, uh, it just causes more problems than...anyway. It's because of that that I've decided to come clean to Mallory. About everything: Daniel's double life, and...all of it. She deserves to know. You know, if she's gonna be there for Daniel, if she's gonna be everything that he needs, then, uh...she needs to know the truth.

And I know, I know. All of you are gonna think that I have some hidden agenda, that I'm hoping she's gonna leave him, and I'll be there to swoop him off his feet, and whatever. Please, okay? He wishes. As if.

I'm just not gonna lie for him anymore. It's not worth it.

Notes

• This video bares some resemblance to Gemma's video Bad Decisions, where she is sitting in her apartment with a single dying rose next to her. This video has Sarah in her room in the rented house with a potted plant next to her. Shortly after Gemma posted Bad Decisions, Tachyon and Brother exposed her as an OpAphid agent.
• Ironically, Sarah is most likely lying about her motivations behind being more honest with Mallory.
• Sarah's stoicism and detachment is typical of her character, exemplifying feminist values.
• Sarah's insistence that she's not trying to break Mallory and Daniel up for her own benefit is contradicted by her trying to convince Daniel in Student Film that "there's a reason you decided to kiss me instead of her."
