Season One: "The Beginning"

In the summer of 2006, a mysterious girl began posting videos on YouTube. She was cute and nerdy and rapidly gained popularity in the online community. As the views on her videos rose to the hundreds of thousands, the community began to suspect that Bree was hiding a secret. With their help, Bree's friend and sometimes love interest, Daniel, discovered that her parents were members of a freaky new age religion, the Hymn of One, and that the special ceremony Bree was preparing for would most likely end in her death. Bree and Daniel ran away from home, and over time learned that the Hymn of One was actually a front for a mysterious organization called, “The Order.” With the help of Daniel and her new friends Jonas, Sarah, and Taylor, Bree managed to evade the Order and learn more about its secrets. It turned out that Bree was a special girl, born with a rare blood trait, TRAIT:POSITIVE, and the purpose of the Ceremony was to transfuse her life extending blood into the body of an aging Elder. With the help of Spencer Gilman, an R&D scientist at Neutrogena, the team developed a serum to turn Bree TRAIT:NEGATIVE and save her from the Order. Unfortunately they were too late, and in the dramatic season finale, the 12 in 12 in which twelve videos were posted over twelve hours, Bree performed the Ceremony and passed away. Before she died, she managed to get important information to her friends and implored them to fight the Order at all costs.

Season Two: "Fight the Order"

With the loss of their friend Bree, the team went their separate ways and it seemed they would never turn on their video cameras again. Jonas was particularly distraught because he had fallen in love with Bree and he felt personally responsible for her death. Daniel, Taylor, and Sarah returned to their parent's homes and their equally dysfunctional lives. The appearance of a mysterious video from La Rezisto, an organization claiming to be leaders of a resistance movement against the Order, forced Jonas into action and led him to his missing parents and an important discovery: Jonas had an adopted sister, Emma. It turned out that, like Bree, Emma was TRAIT:POSITIVE and the Order was after her as well. The team reunited and decided it was time to fight back against the Order. Joining forces with La Rezisto, they rescued Emma and began to formulate a plan. Unfortunately, La Rezisto was not what it claimed to be, but rather was established by a rogue Elder from within the Order in an attempt to use Emma's blood to extend his life before his rightful turn. The team rescued Emma from the rogue Elder, but discovered a darker secret. Through its front the Hymn of One, the Order had partnered with a multi-national pharmaceutical company, Verdus Pharmaceuticals, to form the non-profit Lullaby Project. The Lullaby Project, spearheaded by Verdus scientist Dr. Hart, was established in Mexico to provide pre-natal care to women in third world countries. However, its actual purpose was to engineer genetically modified TRAIT:POSITIVE girls. Jonas and Sarah infiltrated the Lullaby Project, exposed its secret to the world, but before they could bring down Verdus Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Hart, who had been helping them, kidnapped Emma to trade her for the TRAIT:POSITIVE test subject he had fallen in love with, Gina. The season ended with the startling revelation that Gina was actually Bree’s biological sister. Dr. Hart, in an act of redemption, poisoned Emma’s blood, killing the Elder and freeing both Emma and Gina who joined the team in their ongoing fight against the Order.

Season Three: "Revelations"

Season Three begins with the group fighting more amongst itself than against The Order. While in hiding at a secluded cabin, tensions mount until Emma decides to secretly return to her parents. Jonas, distraught over her absence, instills a newfound unity within the group, one that helps them finally come together. The uncommunicative Gina confesses that all of her memories are fuzzy but manages to express herself through her drawings. In a bizarre twist, she draws a face from memory – which Daniel recognizes as Bree’s Mom, Elizabeth Avery. The group decides to find Bree’s Mom to get Gina some answers. They track Bree’s mom to Verdus Pharmaceuticals, where they discover she is Chairman. Before they can reach her, however, Bree’s Mom turns the tables by abducting Gina… only to return her the same night. Unsure of what happened, the group manages to unlock an encrypted disc that was returned with Gina. On the disc they find an extraordinary breakthrough: footage of two little girls, young Gina and young Bree, playing together in an old home video. It’s an unthinkable and moving sight. When Gina meets Bree’s mom again, she learns she was abducted to prove to The Order her blood had been compromised, and that she is in fact TRAIT: NEGATIVE. The event was staged to save her life. Bree’s mom also reveals that she attempted to stop the sacrifice of her daughter but the girl’s Elder refused. She is now dying and racked with guilt over Bree’s death; she believes that helping fight The Order may give her the redemption she desperately desires. The group is now determined to find Bree’s Elder.

KateModern

Season One: "Lost in London"

Kate was a beautiful young art student living a carefree life in East London. Through a series of introspective video blogs Kate reveals that she is living under an assumed name and on the run from a history of mental problems. Her problems are further compounded by the discovery that her blood is TRAIT:POSITIVE and that she is marked by an evil secret society, “The Order,” and a rogue scientist, both of whom want her blood for their own selfish reasons. Soon, the crazy events infiltrating Kate’s life intrude into her friend’s lives as well. Her flatmate Charlie and her boyfriend Tariq are forced to put their responsibilities on hold to protect her from a secretive Elder within the Order named Michelle Clore. Meanwhile, Tariq and his business partner Gavin are hard at work on a valuable piece of software that makes it possible to spy on people through their webcams. The software attracts the attention of the Order, and its subsequent theft ruins their business efforts and sends their lives into a downward spiral. Desperate to save Kate from being sacrificed by the Order for her life sustaining blood, Charlie, Tariq and Gavin trick Michelle Clore into revealing her true intentions towards Kate, and manage to convince her to rejoin them and find safety. Afraid for her life and demoralized by the realization that Michelle fooled her, Kate flees London on Christmas day. The season reaches a conclusion with Charlie deciding to return to Australia, Kate on the run, and Tariq and Gavin ruined and living in the streets.

Season Two: "In the Name of KateModern"

The season begins with the startling revelation that Kate is dead. Murdered by an unknown assailant in East London in what appears to be part of a ritual killing connected to the Order, her death remains a mystery. For Kate’s friends, the news comes as a devastating shock. Her best friend Charlie has returned from Australia and the untrustworthy Hymn of One member, Steve, is arrested and then released for the murder. Tempers rage at Kate’s memorial service, with accusations flying as Steve and Kate’s ex-boyfriend Tariq fall into a slagging match about who is the most likely killer, each vowing to uncover the person responsible themselves. Following a tip off from an anti-Order organization named the FTO, the group investigate a high ranking Order spokesperson named Rupert Van-Helden who is alleged to be involved in ritual experiments. The group set out to confront him while he’s inn London on a book tour, but find that it is the charismatic Rupert who seeks them out to clear his name and expose the FTO as nothing more than two nerds in a bedroom with a hatred for the Hymn of One and big imaginations. Without any resolution to Kate’s murder, and after a testing time with some ever multiplying Australian flat-mates, Charlie confronts Michelle Clore, the prime suspect, at an exhibition of her work in Edinburgh. Michelle Clore’s alibi denies the murder, saying that she can prove she and her Shadow bodyguards were on the other side of the world on Ardak island and had nothing to do with the murder. Terrified that the killer will never be found, Charlie, aided by Gavin, digs into the past and follows several dead end leads. They re-investigate Steve and his alibi under the instruction of Michelle Clore and also look into the alibi of the newest Hymn of One convert,

former gangster Terrence. At a complete loss with no results, Charlie is mysteriously haunted by a series of missed calls that are eventually revealed to originate from the phone Kate had with her when she was murdered. Will Charlie become the next victim or can she turn the tables on the killer and expose their true identity?
