For Dream  

If only the Deacons were small brown and furry,
that would give us one less thing to worry,
about on the comment page that starts to get blurry,
as our fingers start to numb from hitting “refresh” in a hurry. 

I can just see it now: the Deacons as squirrels,
though I doubt they would be able to make so many referrals…
like Dr. Imant supposes, in his order-ly videos… 

Instead they would spend their afternoons relaxing,
playing games and doing things that were considerably less taxing,
then running the order and making a lasting,
impression on us, and we’d wonder in passing,
if the creators got tired of all our harassing.
