Thirteen and a Half is the one-hundred sixteenth webisode in the KateModern video series.

Transcript

(The video opens with a closeup on Lee walking in London in the rain.)

Lee: Here I am in Parliament Square. Gotta place my clue. Meet a little friend of mine. (The camera pans down to show a gnome.) This is my gnome. (Laughs.) Hope you're ready for this, Gavin and Tariq. Hope you're ready to find my clues. We've come to Parliament Square for a very special reason. We're right in front of a very important statue of someone who's very, very important to me. Look at all of these people. Hi. (People from the crowd which can't be seen in the frame say hello.) Hi. Hi. This is where I'm gonna put the gnome down. (Lee deposits the gnome in front of the statue, which he then looks up at.) And this is mister Winston Churchill. (The camera pans to show the statue.) Yeah, look at him. (The camera pans back to Lee.) Right, a message for you, Gavin: I will fight you on the beaches, I will fight you on the landing grounds, in the fields, and in the streets. And I will never surrender! Bye, Winston. (Lee looks up at the statue, and then leaves. He waits across the street and films Gavin arriving with Charlie. Then a shot of Big Ben is shown.) Was Big Ben a bit too obvious for ya? (Scene cut to Lee in night vision.) Well, check this out. Because today I've made it harder. Waterloo Station! You better run. You've got to be there by half past one.

Notes

  • There is tile visible behind Lee in his night vision portion of the video. This gives the impression that he's filming himself in a bathroom.
