(Steve walks in front of the camera, with rows of candles behind him.)
Steve: This is a message to anyone who's ever been betrayed; anyone who's ever been lied to. A message to anyone who's tried to stand up for what is right in the face of deception, violence, and money-grubbing egotism that permeates every level of our rotten society.
I've had a lot of thinking time of late. Mainly due to the fact that I've... That I was left in the middle of a foreign country. Middle of nowhere. That's okay, 'cause I learned a valuable lesson. It's impossible to find true happiness if you're obsessed with the past. The Americans are never going to be happy as long as they fixate on avenging their friend Bree's death. It's no way to honor her memory. It's impossible to have true friendships with people who are paranoid and distrusting. That's not the way I want to be.
But I've realized my true calling now. The Hymn of One is destined to fail because it is flawed in its very core. I'm not just talking about the Order. Even if you ignore the associations with those murdering psychopaths, there's still a fundamental misconception at the center of their organization. Can't believe I didn't see it when I was a member. But the whole thing is a scam designed to milk people out of their individuality and their money. False prophets like Rupert Van Helden spout indoctrinating nonsense and encourage you to buy the books, donate to the fund, read the expensive pamphlets. It's all just money-grabbing brainwashing.
But it doesn't have to be like that. And it won't be. If you open your hearts and connect with me. (The Celestial Network logo flashes on the screen.) You see, I have this overwhelming desire to spread love and friendship with anyone who wants it. Yeah, I know it sounds a bit cheesy, but try and think of it in a spiritual sense. My dear, late friend Kate first showed me the power of online communication, and it's with her in mind that I begin this crusade. Using this method of interaction, we can open up our love to the entire world. (The Celestial Network logo flashes on the screen.) Connect with me and be part of a Celestial Network.
Send me photos of you with the Celestial Network logo. Adopt my skin. Send me your love. Send each other your love. Because love is free. Love is all. (The Celestial Network logo flashes on the screen.) Connect with me.
(Steve smiles as he fades out of the frame. His Bebo address appears on the screen. Cut to the Celestial Network logo.)
