Precious Blood: 7PM is the two-hundred twenty-fifth webisode in the KateModern video series. It is also the seventieth video of season two.

Transcript

(Steve and Charlie are walking toward his flat.)

Steve: It's just here. (Points at a building.)

(Charlie films the street, showing how dingy the buildings look. Steve stands in front of the door.)

Steve: Here we are.

(Charlie films windows above as Steve fumbles with his keys. Cut to her looking around nervously. Cut to black; the door is heard opening. Steve leads the way into his flat.)

Steve: Sorry about the mess.

(Steve removes his scarf and coat. Charlie scans the apartment with the camera. She zooms in on a magazine article about Gary Barlow. Cut to a mousetrap. She pans to a tea kettle sitting on the stove. Cut to Steve looking at her nervously with a black eye.)

Steve: (Motions to his bed.) Here.

(Steve sits on the bed and Charlie puts down the camera to sit next to him.)

Charlie: Thanks. (Looks to the camera.) Hey, guys, I just want you to know that we're alright.

Steve: Yeah, we're fine. All is fine. (Looks at Charlie.)

Charlie: So weird, huh? (Steve nods.) You know, after all that searching and wondering, and now we know.

Steve: It doesn't make us feel any better, does it?

Charlie: No. You know, I always thought it would give me some sort type of closure.

Steve: That's because he's still out there.

Charlie: Yeah.

Steve: And I'm gonna make sure he pays. Don't you worry about that.

Charlie: That's not very Hymn of One-ish.

Steve: Do you know? I'm done with that bullshit. I can't believe what a fool I've been. Do you know, all this time... and it's just been- well, it's been bollocks, hasn't it? I first found the Hymn of One when I was completely alone: had no friends, family, nothing. And my devotion to those false prophets has made sure it's stayed that way ever since.

Charlie: (Puts her hand on his leg.) That's not true. Steve, it's not true. Come here. (Hugs Steve.) It's not true.

(Steve puts his arms around Charlie and takes a deep breath.)

Steve: You know it's true. I never even had a girlfriend.

Charlie: But you're so brave. No, seriously. You know, you've come so far since I labeled you "Creepy Steve". You know, I'm sorry; I should never have called you that. You've changed so much, Steve.

(Charlie leans in slowly and kisses Steve. She pulls away and turns off the camera.)
