My Day at the Movies - NBR 5 is the fifth video in the lonelygirl15 mini-series Nikki Bower Report.

Transcript

(Seated in car, driving slowly and talking to camera.)

Nikki: Hey guys! Nikki B here. Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving. I had a good time with my family and friends and I ate so much I almost split my pants! Decided to take a little break from friends and family and go to the movies. (Moves shoulders up and down in excitement).

(Standing outside a cinema.)

Nikki: So we're here at the movie theatre where Bree came with her friend P. Monkey.

(Fast footage of Nikki walking past a wall of film posters.)

(Nikki stands looking over people beneath her, and a fountain. Over the other side, there is a building with someone in the balcony. Nikki waves.)

Nikki: (Close up to the camera, showing her hands.) I'm trying to... to use the sign language to see if she's a watcher but... (looks back) oh, no, she turned her back... but I think, I think her hand is clear, no sign.

(Camera cuts to a new scene as Nikki is walking.)

Nikki: Nothing in the plants! (Leans over to look at plants, which camera also does.) Just some gum.

(Camera changes to a new angle.)

Nikki: You have to always be careful when you're going around corners, because you don't know who you're really going to bump into like... (Interrupted by two men walking down the stairs from around the corner.) Hello!

(Men mumble)

Nikki: Hi, have you, have you seen anything unusual happening in this, uh, centre today?

Men: No.

Nikki: Anybody looking, like, really creepy and, like, following people?

Man: No. We just got here.

Other Man: Well, you're following people. (laughs)

Nikki: Oh... What? Oh. Not me! (Boys laugh.) I'm trying to solve the crime!

(Cut to later on.)

Nikki: Something looks really, really curious about this place right here... pan, pan, pan! (Camera pans and zooms to show a large tent-like structure with a sign that says "The Spot" and Arabic-style lettering below.) "The Spot"? Hmmmm! Possibly some Enochian? Let's check it out.

(Cut to Nikki walking by "The Spot".)

Nikki: Look at these people, look at these people. Uh-huh, uh-huh. They're drugging them, and then... branding them with... Watcher birthmarks! (Grins.)

(Cut to Nikki elsewhere in the movie complex.)

Nikki: So that just turned out to be a hookah lounge. No real Watchers there. Okay, so some interesting news this week. Both Bree and Gemma acknowledge that they knew about OpAphid since childhood. In Gemma's community, Aphid is another acronym that means (signs with hands) "acknowledge their position to help initiate dialogue." (Talks to hands.) I'm doing good, how about you? Oh thank you very much for asking.

(Cut to Nikki leaning against a balcony rail.)

Nikki: But we all know OpAphid stands for something else: analyze, protect and hinder. And we're still working on the I and the D. Someone on the forum contacted Aphid and asked what about Gemma's interpretation of Aphid: what does this mean? And Aphid herself responded that there are many fairy tales that we tell children. I guess they were really brainwashing these kids at a young age.

(Back in her car, parked somewhere in the complex.)

Nikki: So after my last video, you guys learned a little bit about me. That I love Miss Nancy Drew. Now I wrote to Tachyon and I asked her what her favorite Nancy Drew book is. And she wrote back and told me it was "The Clue in the Diary." Now let's see what we can learn from this quote: (reads from book) "When witnessing a massive fire, take careful note of shifts in the wind's direction." I think it means things are gonna change. The winds are shifting. Are they shifting in favor of Tachyon? Are they shifting in favor of Bree and Daniel? Bree's parents? Take careful note in the wind's direction. (Tests for wind direction with wet finger.) Where is it coming from? Over there? (Look of sudden realization.) I'm in a car!

(Cut to later on in her car. She is parked somewhere else and it is getting dark.)

Nikki: Bree, I know you're struggling right now, but don't give up. Pay attention, look closer and hopefully the wind will change in your direction.
