Transcript

(Charlie is walking outside of the flat she shares with Gavin.)

Charlie: We failed. The Watcher got away with Gavin and Tariq's software. Julia and I almost got the hard drive back. We thought we could get it off Lee but things didn't quite turn out that way. We're lucky to have gotten out of there alive.

(Charlie puts the key into the door of the flat. Cut to another Charlie animation. A stick figure with a bucket on his head, presumably Lee, is running away with the hard drive in his hand. He grinds to a halt and sees four ninjas, each with a sword in their hand. A sword is thrown and a stick figure of Charlie picks her weapon out of the face of a fallen ninja. A stick figure of Julia has a pole in her hand, with which she hits the ninja. Cut back to the four stick figure ninjas. Cut to a black background. Sword noises are heard, and white and gray lines, presumably sword flashes, are seen. Three bloody ninja heads then fly across the screen. Lee grins. He aims his bucket at Charlie. A bomb flies at Charlie, but it misses her. A stick figure, presumably Terrence, then fights with Lee over the hard drive, which flies into the air. Four faces appear around it - Terrence, Lee, Charlie, and Julia. Terrence runs after it, but it lands in the hands of a Watcher, who fights off Terrence. Lee runs away. Charlie uses a sword and tries to kill the Watcher, but fails. Julia then runs over to Charlie. A Watcher van zooms off. Cut back to Charlie, in the bathroom of the flat. She is using a camcorder to film herself in the mirror.)

Charlie: That guy certainly knows how to leave an impression. (Sighs and pulls down the the scarf she is wearing, showing a hand-shaped bruise on her neck)

(A loud noise is heard from the main room.)

Charlie: (startled) Gavin? (Charlie runs through two doors into the main room.) Gav! (Gavin is in the main room, destroying the furniture.) Gav! What the hell is wrong with you? What-- what are you doing to the room? What is wrong with you? What are you-- Stop it!

Gavin: I'll tell you what's wrong with me.

Charlie: What?

Gavin: My-- my only hope of getting out of being in total shit with money, of getting somewhere, of actually being somebody, has gotten stolen by that bloody thug!

(Gavin angrily picks up something and throws it across the room. It shatters.)

Gavin: Not only-- not only have I lost life's work, years-- years of work to that meathead from the Order but who did he fight for it? Not me, my bloody girlfriend! I've got my girlfriend fighting my battles for me!

Charlie Oh, then this is what this is about, this is what this is about then, your stupid male pride! (Gavin picks up something and, again, throws it.) Stop it!

Gavin: Stay out of my way.

Charlie: You-- why are you acting like such a child? (Gavin runs to the door of the flat. Charlie runs after him.) That's right, isn't it, Gav? You smash up all your toys and now you're running away! (Gavin and Charlie descend the steps of their flat building.) Where are you going?

(The two reach the outside.)

Charlie: (running behind Gavin) You big baby! You didn't even say thank you to me for helping you! (Gavin, in the distance, says "Don't want to hear it.") I put my body on the line for you! I've got his bruises all over me!

(Charlie walks back toward her flat. She passes a youngish, professional-looking black woman.)

Charlie: (addressing the woman) Do men ever grow up?

Patricia: Good question. Are you Charlie?

Charlie: Yeah, who's asking?

Patricia: Patricia Neilson. I've been looking for you, Charlie. I'm researching a television documentary, I can see how much you like talking on camera so I'd like you to talk to me.

Charlie: Yeah, about what?

Patricia: Dr. Griffin and the supposed evil Order.

Charlie: You've gotta be kidding. I'm really not in the mood.

Patricia: Charlie, you've got yourself mixed up with some very dangerous people here.

Charlie: Stay away from me, okay?

Patricia: Charlie, look, there's questions I need to know. Look, I've watched all of your videos. I know that I can help you.

Charlie: You? Help me? Yeah, right!

Patricia: Wait--

Charlie: Stay away from me!

Patricia: Charlie, If you just give this a chance--

Charlie: No! Please!

Patricia: Only two minutes. Two minutes!

(Charlie goes into her flat building.)

Charlie: No!

Patricia: Two minutes!

Charlie: No! NO! NO!
