Description Something tells me you'll forgive me for breaking in here. But hey, campsite rules, right?

Did you think that because they were quiet this was over? Isn't that when you're supposed to worry, when the guys in suits and symbols disappear all at once? They didn't go anywhere, kids. You did. The world doesn't just freeze when you close your eyes.

I know, you've got a lot of questions. Questions deserve answers. It's the only thing that satisfies them and I have many. But are you here, or am I talking to myself? I guess you could say I'm the lonely girl, now.

Sorry. Bad joke.

But if I'm going to stick my neck out, I have to know that it's worth it. That you're here, that you're still resisting. That you're ready to fight and put it all on the line. Maybe then we might see more of each other.

And if you do show up, I promise, soon enough, we'll have plenty to talk about. But for now... this should keep you occupied.

Whatever Happened To lonelygirl15? is the first video in the LG15: Anchor Cove video series.

(Footage of a computer desktop screen appears. A coding window called "mother@home: ~" pops up and the following text appears as someone types in the window:)

mother@home: ~ sudo su
[sudo] password for mother:
root@home:~$ sudo ovaltine carepkg.mov

(The percentage complete changes to 5%, 23%, 56%, 91%, and finally 100% complete. More text appears:)

(A video loads onto the screen. It begins with a title card with the following text:)

Public distribution will result in severe penalties up to and including termination without appeal.
(An eye symbol somewhat resembling the ones used by Watchers and OpAphid, but stylized differently.)
VIDEO 4: What To Do If You Are Selected (Ver. 2)

(The first line blinks a few times as a low static hum, like from playing an old VCR tape, plays in the background. The title screen fades to black, and then fades to Bree standing in front of a white wall and looking down at the ground. She looks up at the camera.)

Bree: Being selected can be a very frightening thing, and it's okay to be afraid. When I was selected I was terrified. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go through with the Ceremony, and my friends thought something would (Her voice becomes distorted and the picture on the screen scrambles, The eye symbol interlaced within.) happen to me. (The distortion clears up and Bree is looking down again, looking up as she speaks.) Nothing happened to me. Everything was fine. I went through with the Ceremony and it was an honor and a privilege. I'm living proof of that. And now that you've reached your fifteenth birthday, you too will undergo selection. Being chosen by your loved ones and your elders is one of the most amazing experiences of your life. (Another distortion similar to the first, with the same eye symbol interlaced. A distorted voice saying "The blood" can be heard.) There's nothing to fear. A part of you and your ancestors must heal this world. And The Order is here to held gui- (The footage begins to glitch and skip over Bree saying "gui-" several times before freezing and pixeling a bit. It cuts again to Bree looking down.) My story was a simple one. (Looks up as she speaks.) Girl gets selected. Girl gets scared. Girl gets lost, and the returns home and does what she was always meant to do. Your friends want what's best for you, but they won't understand if they're not a part of us. You must keep this information secret from them, or you can hurt your standing. (Another distortion similar to the first two, with the same eye symbol interlaced. Bree's distorted voice saying "standing" can be heard. Cut to Bree looking at the screen with an apparent jump-cut within.) The blood must heal. The blood must protect. The blood must flow. (Bree stares silently at the camera for a moment, and then smiles.) Now, open to page fifteen of your Ceremony selection handbook.

(The screen freezes on Bree's face for a moment before cutting to black, and then back to the first prompt screen with all the previous text still present. After root@home~$ The following is typed:)

Get ready.

(The video cuts to black again. An annotation pops up linking to "First Blog / Dorkiness Prevails" pops up, reading:)
