Edward Salinas is a member of either the Hymn of One, The Order, or both. He is also a candidate for US Congress. After the hit was ordered on TAAG by the Order/Michelle Clore, Salinas sent a Secret Service car to where Jonas and Steve were meeting the rest of the gang at the Mexico/US border and Steve was shot in the arm. In Computer Penetration, Salinas hacked Daniel's computer with a video message that he will hunt down TAAG and that he "will ascend to higher office". This is a play on words because Salinas is both a candidate for Congress and is attempting to become an elder.
