Edward Salinas is a member of either the Hymn of One, The Order, or both. He is also a candidate for US Congress. He appears to be a member of the Democratic Party, based on his talk about universal health care in Politics Gone Wild! and on his website under the "Mission Statement" section. After the hit was ordered on TAAG by the Order/Michelle Clore, Salinas sent a Secret Service car to where Jonas and Steve were meeting the rest of the gang at the Mexico/US border and Steve was shot in the arm. In Computer Penetration, Salinas hacked Daniel's computer with a video message that he will hunt down TAAG and that he "will ascend to higher office". This is a play on words because Salinas is both a candidate for Congress and is attempting to become an elder.
