Voice: The fountain of youth is real, and it's in the blood of dozens of girls across the world. Their secret is known by few, yet desired by all. They are pawns in the most dangerous of games. We are the Resistance. Our mission is to find these girls, and protect them from those who want to use them, and destroy them. And we document what happens to them, so that their stories live on. This is the story of one of those girls. We are the Resistance. We will not be stopped.

(Static effect to a picture of the LG15: The Resistance logo. Static effect to Maggie reclining on her bed in her room at Old LifesBlood Labs.)

Maggie: (in narration) She had awaited this moment for what seemed an eternity. The plan was whole, and the day proper for its execution.

(An orderly comes into Maggie's room with a wheelchair.)

Orderly: Get up.

Maggie: (in narration) A stillness had enveloped the dungeon, and the princess was certain she would feel nothing. But this was not so.

(The orderly helps Maggie into her wheelchair and leads her out of her room into the hallway.)

Maggie: (in narration) For all of the preparedness, there was an emotion she had not anticipated. A feeling she had forgotten. Excitement. The princess knew she would soon escape to a different place, one where a new journey would unfold.

(Static effect to We Are The Resistance. In the bottom right hand corner, text says "Monday November 10, 2008 Maggie". Static effect to a testing room at Old LifesBlood Labs. A few nurses as well as the orderly is walking around. Maggie is brought in.)

Nurse: How are you feeling today, Maggie?

(The orderly clumsily throws Maggie onto the floor. A crash is heard. While on the ground, Maggie seizes an injection needle with lidocaine inside of it. The orderly picks Maggie up and puts her onto the testing bed. The nurse puts a pulse rate tester on Maggie's finger, while Maggie hides the lidocaine under her clothes. The nurse shines a light into Maggie's eyes, beginning to do general medical tests.)

Maggie: (in narration) She now had the first element.

(Maggie looks at the nurse.)

Maggie: Better.

Nurse: I'm sorry?

Maggie: I'm feeling better today.

Maggie: (in narration) But she knew the second, and final, piece of the plan, would be much more difficult to obtain.

Notes

  • On imeem, the video is called New England Bound!.
  • Lidocaine (combined with small amounts of epinephrine) is commonly used as an anesethetic for minor surgery and only extremely high doses can cause adverse effects, eitherway Maggie's reaction is not characteristic of an overdosage.
